Leonardo DiCaprio, 47, cosies up to Gigi Hadid, 27, amid romance reports

Leonardo DiCaprio and model Gigi Hadid have fuelled rumours they are dating after they were seen getting close at a party in New York City.

There has been speculation of a new romance between the pair, following Leo’s recent split from ex girlfriend Camila Morrone, after Leo and Gigi were spotted together at an afterparty in Soho, Manhattan, during New York Fashion Week.

In pictures obtained by Daily Mail, Leonardo, 47, and Gigi, 25, were seen sitting closely opposite each other at the exclusive party held at Casa Cipriani in Soho by Leo's friends Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol.

Leo and Gigi appeared to be deep in conversation, leaning into each other and speaking in one another’s ears.

The rumoured new couple were dressed casually with Leo sporting a black baseball cap and T-shirt, while Gigi wore a white crop top and light blue jeans.

Their appearance together in the photos come as Page Six has reported that a source close to the couple has said they are “taking it slow” while dating and “getting to know each other”.

They told the outlet: “[Leo] is not someone who is in-and-out of relationships. He doesn't jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow.”

An insider has told E! News that Leo and Gigi are “not exclusive” yet, as a second source revealed that “neither of them want a relationship” right now.

They said: “Gigi and Leo have hung out multiple times and are into each other. Gigi thinks he's a really cool guy.

“Majority of their hangouts have stemmed from being in the same social circles at various parties.”

Leo and Gigi’s party appearance follows reports that the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star has had “his sights set” on the supermodel in recent days.

A source told this to Us Weekly last week, but added that Gigi “doesn't want to be romantic with [Leo] right now”.

Reports of Leo’s split with ex Camila, 25, came about at the end of last month. The pair had been dating for five years.

It was one of the Titanic actor's longest relationships, with fans assuming he was finally ready to settle down.

Gigi, 27, would be the first woman the star has dated above the age of 25 in decades, following the romance reports.

Comedian Ricky Gervais once made a joke at the Golden Globes about Leonardo's famous age gaps in his relationships.

Speaking at the 2020 ceremony about Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Ricky said: "[It’s] almost three hours long – it’s an epic.

"Leonardo DiCaprio attended the premiere and by the end, his date was too old for him.”
