Linda Robson takes swipe at husband after ups and downs in marriage

Loose Women: Linda Robson discusses her relationship history

Linda Robson took a cheeky swipe at her husband by putting her pet pooch before him in a chat live on Loose Women just weeks after she had to address split rumours.

The Birds of a Feather star has been married to husband Mark Dunford for 33 years and frequently discusses their relationship on the ITV afternoon show.

Discussing her weekend plans this week Linda, who appears on Tipping Point: Lucky Stars today, mentioned that, since her children flew the nest, the only people she was home with were her dog and her husband.

“Notice the order!” she said referring to the fact that she had mentioned her pet pooch before her husband, causing the other panellists to break out in hysterics.

The hilarious dig comes just weeks after she was forced to address rumours that the couple had split.

“That’s a load of rubbish. We’re still living together,” she told the panel.

“We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously you have a few hiccups in every marriage,” she continued.

“We’ve been married 33 years so it’s not going to be all plain sailing, but we’re still together at the moment.”

In June, Linda admitted on the show that she had been celibate for two years.

“Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years?” she said, before admitting that co-star Denise Welch had given her a special gift in light of it.

“You got me a lady friend,” she said as Denise acknowledged that she had indeed.

Continuing to explain her relationship she said: “I can’t be a**** with all that [romance stuff].

“I’m just happy going out with my mates and my children and my grandchildren.

“If I’ve got three or four days off work, I’ll just go to Mallorca. I’ll get a flight out there. Stay in a hotel hopefully full of Germans so no-one will recognise me and just have a nice relaxing time.

“I just love sitting on the sun bed, round the pool, on the beach, reading a book. I would like to take a cruise round the world on my own.”
