Lizzo Accused Of Sexual Harassment, Creating Hostile Work Environment By Former Dancers

Lizzo, a flag bearer of body positivity, is being sued by three of her former dancers, who have accused the superstar of sexual harassment and the creation of a hostile work environment.

Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez have filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles court against Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, and her Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc.

In the lawsuit, one dancer accused Lizzo of calling out her weight gain and firing her for recording a meeting.

Other allegations mentioned in the lawsuit include Lizzo falsely accusing dancers of drinking on the job, leading to an “excruciating” audition.

The plaintiffs also complain that Lizzo’s dance team captain, Shirlene Quigley, made inappropriate sexual comments while chastising members of the team who had premarital sex. They believe that Lizzo was aware of the complaints against Quigley but did not take action.

In another particularly egregious allegation, the lawsuit claims that Lizzo pushed the dancers to attend a sex show in Amsterdam’s famed Red Light District and then pressured them to engage with the performers.

“Lizzo began inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas,” the lawsuit claims. “Lizzo then turned her attention to Ms. Davis and began pressuring Ms. Davis to touch the breasts of one of the nude women performing at the club.”
