Love Island 2022 was one for the books; from Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s cheeky antics on the balcony to Andrew Le Page “licking Coco [Lodge’s] t*t, or whatever” – there were so many memorable moments.
With the explosive season in mind, some of the show’s contestants have already gone on to make the big bucks, while others have humbly returned to their pre-Love Island day jobs.
A month on from the show ending – which saw Ekin-Su and beau Davide Sanclimenti crowned winners with Luca Bish and Gemma Owen as runners-up – we look at what some of this year’s contestants are up to now…
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu
This summer's winner Ekin-Su, 27, secured the highest paid contract of any islander to leave the villa, signing a reported £1m deal with fashion brand Oh Polly.
There’s also talks that the Turkish actress is being considered to join ITV’s Loose Women panel, which could see her as a regular alongside the likes of Stacey Solomon, Katie Piper, Nadia Sawalha, and Brenda Edwards.
According to Entertainment Daily, some of the panellists earn up to £3,000 per episode – so it would be a highly lucrative deal for Ekin-Su if it came into fruition.
Indiyah Polack
Indiyah, 23, has become one of the most recent Love Island 2022 stars to sign a huge deal after she signed what’s thought to be a six-figure deal with PrettyLittleThing and its brand new marketplace.
The news came just a day after she revealed that she’s teamed up with Boots for a beauty campaign.
She dropped into Boots Covent Garden store to sign her contract, with Boots saying in a statement: "Indiyah is renowned for her stand-out beauty looks seen in this year’s Love Island villa including her sharp winged liner, fluttery eyelashes and irresistible glossy lips."
It’s unclear how much she’s earning from the signing, but it’s likely to be making the 23 year old a pretty penny.
Gemma Owen
Like Indiyah, Gemma, 19, has also signed a six-figure deal with PrettyLittleThing
Announcing the news on Instagram, the brand shared a snap of the brunette beauty surrounded by merchandise with what appears to be a contract in front of her.
They captioned it: "IT’S OFFICIAL Welcome to the PLT family @gemowen_1 We can’t wait to show everyone what we’re working on…"
Gemma’s also the owner of a swimwear line, with orders having “skyrocketed” since her stint on Love Island.
“Win or lose, Gemma will make a fortune from Love Island through her fashion label. Since going on the programme orders have skyrocketed,” an insider said to MailOnline ahead of her exit from the villa.
Paige Thorne
Another star to have bagged a six-figure deal is Paige, 24, who’s teamed up with Forever Unique.
The Welsh beauty had previously hinted at wanting to return to her dayjob of a paramedic after she was “devastated” to have to quit her job to go on the show, but has gone on to hit the big time with the fast fashion brand.
Billy Brown
Billy ruffled a few feathers during his time in the villa, and since returning to the real world the 23 year old has returned to his day job.
The roofing director from Surrey took to Instagram to show off his manual skills as he hammered a brick wall, dressed in a black T-shirt and hardwearing trousers.
Coco Lodge
Coco left the villa back in July and soon after her exit she candidly revealed she was returning to her job because she “needs to make money”.
Making an appearance on Reality with Will Njobvu, a YouTube podcast, Coco told listeners: "I'm living my best life," before adding that returning to "shot girling".
"I'm actually excited,” she admitted at the time. “It’s going to be fun.”.
Adam Collard
Love Island alumni Adam has returned to his job as a personal trainer since leaving the villa for a second time.
Adam, who’s dating Paige Thorne after making a beeline for the brunette beauty as soon as he entered the villa, shared snaps of himself at his Newcastle-based gym and has been promoting it online to his 1.2 million Instagram followers.
