Love Island fans accuse ITV bosses of ‘hiding Lana’s real personality’

Love Island fans were left in stitches after tuning in to watch Unseen Bits on Saturday night, with many seeing a different side to the Islanders.

The latest episode of Unseen Bits, which features clips from inside the villa that didn't make it into the main show, aired on 4 March and one Islander stood out to TV viewers.

Dozens of Love Island fans took to social media to say they felt they'd seen Lana Jenkins' "real" personality, and accused ITV bosses of not showing more of the make-up artist in the main show.

Viewers also said Lana, 25, came across "so much better" on Saturday's episode of the spin-off show.

"Why don’t they show more of this Lana on the main show? This is why unseen bits is superior," one Love Island fan tweeted.

A second said: "Seriously! Lana has a personality it’s literally being hidden. They need to incorporate more natural funny moments on the main show instead of the scripted BS."

"Lana is so much better on Unseen Bits," a third viewer said, with a fourth agreeing and adding: "These producers are hiding the real Lana and her personality to us."

During Saturday's episode of Unseen Bits Lana could be seen enjoying time with boyfriend Ron Hall, 25, in the villa, with more of the couple's conversations being shown.

The pair, who coupled up on day one in the villa, have had a rocky journey on the show but recently got back on track and decided to make things official.

Ron pulled Lana aside for a chat on the infamous terrace and sweetly asked her to be his girlfriend, with Lana excitedly accepting.

He said: “I’ve never had a relationship or anything like that, so for me it’s like a massive thing. And we’ve said to each other about being exclusive, but that’s not enough for me. I want the title."

“I want you to be my girlfriend,” he added, to which Lana responded, “Are you asking me right now?”

Ron replied: “I am asking you, will you be my girlfriend?” After Lana confirmed her own feelings with a simple “yes”, the two embraced and shared numerous kisses as they giggled.

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
