Danielle Fogarty and Ross Warswick’s son Mason needs to have a “little operation”, his heartbroken mum has revealed.
Taking to Instagram to share an update on her 18 month old son, Danielle – who wed Ex On The Beach star Ross Worswick last September – shared a black and white snap of Mason cuddled up to a teddy bear while appearing to have just woken up from a nap.
She wrote alongside it: “Come home to my little love and he’s got an inguinal hernia and will need a little operation [crying face emoji”.
According to the NHS, an inguinal hernia is the most common type and usually appears as swelling or a lump near the groin.
Danielle has since offered a short update as she promised to keep fans posted on how Mason’s doing.
Next to a snap of a cappuccino, the mum-of-one penned: “Much needed today. Also Thankyou for all your kind messages regarding Mason. I’ll keep you posted once we hear back from the specialist.”
Mason’s upcoming operation comes shortly after Danielle and Ross announced that they’re expecting another child together.

Earlier this month the star shared a sweet video to her Instagram page showing off her positive pregnancy test and ultrasound to the audio of A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes by Christina Perri.
Captioning the clip, Danielle wrote: "& then there were 4" to which she added the hashtag #halfway.
As her sister Claudia continues her Love Island stint, fans were quick to ask if she knew about Danielle’s pregnancy before heading into the villa – to which Danielle confirmed she did.
“Sooo many people asking this, she is my best friend and sister, I told her when I was about 6 weeks!!!” she replied to someone’s question on an Instagram Q&A.
“She also knew I didn’t want to announce it till after my 20week scan,” Danielle added.
Later on her Instagram stories she revealed why she had left it until her second trimester to tell the public the news.
She said: “I just felt last time telling people so early it felt like a lifetime of being pregnant and that’s all anyone wants to ask you about which isn’t a bad thing, I just felt like I was pregnant for about two years”.
Danielle has been voicing her support for Claudia while the blonde beauty’s in the villa, and appears to approve of her sister’s decision to pie former flame Casey O’Gorman during the show’s well-loved ‘Snog, Marry, Pie!’ game.
Sharing a clip of her doing it, Danielle commented with a string of applauding emojis.
