Love Island star Tanyel Revan had a heartwarming reunion with her close friend and former villa mate Ron Hall during a cosy night out attending the launch of Only The Blind's AW23 collection. The pair posed for a photo, looking stylish in coordinated neutral outfits.
Ron, sporting dyed blonde hair, donned a brown shirt, white t-shirt, and ripped jeans. Meanwhile, Tanyel matched his style with a beige ribbed crop top, beige cargo trousers, and perspex heels. She completed her look with a cream bag and soft, glamorous makeup.
Although Tanyel and Ron were once coupled up on Love Island, they cherished a strong friendship during their time in the villa. Their bond often left fans speculating about the possibility of a romantic connection, especially after Ron's comment about wanting to spoon Tanyel in bed, even after rekindling things with Lana.
Fellow Islanders also observed their close relationship during their time in the villa and wondered if it could evolve into something more. However, Tanyel was quick to dispel any romantic rumours, explaining at the time: "No. I’m glad I coupled up with him the first time around because if I hadn’t done that I wouldn’t have realised how good a friendship we could have."
She emphasised that their romantic connection fizzled when they tried to couple up, and she found a deep and lasting friendship with Ron. Tanyel expressed her wish to have Ron at her wedding one day, saying: "He’s my best friend. When I get married one day, I want him to be there with Lana! Genuinely, I think he’ll be my friend for life."
Tanyel praised Ron for his loyalty, caring nature, and trustworthiness. She noted that she fully trusts him with her thoughts and feelings, as he has a pure heart and genuine intentions. She concluded: "He’s got the best personality, genuinely – I just don’t fancy him!"
While Ron made it to the Love Island final with Lana Jenkins, they later announced their split just a few months after the show.
A source told MailOnline at the time: "Lana and Ron really put everything into their romance and have tried to make things work for some time now. Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, which is a decision they have made amicably and of course, they still remain good friends.
However, when the pair bumped into eachother while at the same ITV summer party in London, Ron reportedly began yelling at his ex-girlfriend.
Apparently, a "wasted" Ron rocked up to the swanky venue with fellow Islander Luca Bish after sinking a number of drinks earlier in the night.
"Ron was visibly upset after bumping into his ex Lana so soon after their split," said a source.
"He started shouting at her but she didn’t understand why. His pals Tom Clare and Shaq Muhammad had to drag him away yet he kept trying to follow her around the event."
In the end, the TV personality was ejected from the party for his confrontational actions.
