Gemma Owen is left “buzzing” as she gets to spend her first night in the hideaway alone with Luca Bish in tonight’s Love Island episode.

The 19 year old’s romance with the fishmonger has continued to blossom on the show and the pair are finally able to explore their passions further as they win some time to themselves away from the rest of the Islanders.

In tonight's show, the hideaway invitation is sent via text to Jay Younger at the fire pit and reads: “Islanders, the hideaway is open tonight. Please choose a lucky couple to spend the night alone. #qualitytime #hideabae.”

It is agreed among the Islanders that Luca, 23, and Gemma should go to the hideaway, leading Gemma to say in the Beach Hut: “Finally! I feel like it has been a long time coming. So nice it’s just gonna be us two. I’m just buzzing.”

The couple’s hideaway trip comes after some raunchy behaviour towards each other on Wednesday night's show as Gemma flashed Luca on the balcony and he sucked her toes for the second time in bed.

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Gemma and Luca spend more time together as the villa are surprised with a couples' brunch and the topic of conversation quickly turns to the ladies’ recoupling speeches the night before.

Luca praises for Gemma for her warm words as he says: “Honestly, it was a good speech and I’m just glad we’ve got something very special going on."

Jacques O’Neill offers similar praise to partner Paige Thorne, saying: “The speech last night, I believe that was a special moment. It made me feel so full inside.”

Andrew Le Page follows suit as he discusses Tasha Ghouri’s heartfelt speech to him over the table.

“I’ve not felt like this in a very, very long time if not ever,” he confesses, as Tasha agrees: “I’ve not had a guy that looks at me the way you do, you see it in the movies when they give that certain look to each other- I feel like we have that.”

Last night, viewers were asked to vote for which couple they think is the most compatible as the show revealed that the least would be at risk of being dumped from the villa.

In tonight’s episode, Andrew receives a text later in the evening asking Islanders to gather at the fire pit.

Paige then receives a message which lets the Islanders know that the public have been voting as it reads: “those with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the Island tonight.”

Which couple will be voted least compatible? Viewers will find out as Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub with episodes available the following morning on BritBox.
