Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri has been reunited with her boyfriend, Andrew Le Page after he touched down in Australia following a 24-hour flight.
Tasha, who was recently dubbed a “real life Mermaid”, is currently in Australia visiting her brother, who she hadn’t seen in over seven years.
Early in December, Tasha, 23, surprised her beau Andrew with tickets to Australia, which she’d saved up for in the hopes he would join her on the family reunion trip.
While Tasha has been in Australia since December 31, Andrew, 27, joined her on January 2 following the lengthy journey that went via Dubai.
Taking to her Instagram story, Tasha, who appeared on season eight of Love Island with the likes of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Gemma Owen, shared a black-and-white video of Andrew walking through the arrivals gate.
The Real Estate Agent, who returned to his job following his stint on the dating show, could be seen beaming with delight as he reunited with his girlfriend.
Andrew donned a comfy flight outfit comprised of a grey hoodie, black jeans and trainers, with a typical Australian bush hat on his head.
Tasha surprised Andrew with the trip in December when he wrote: “I’m going to AUSTRALIA. @tashaghouri you’re honestly the best person in the world.”
Further explaining the present, Tasha added: “Had a few DMs about why I got the tickets – Andrew was invited from the start but flights are ridiculously expensive, so I saved up for a long time & surprised him.”
This comes after Andrew surprised Tasha with a promise ring from Tiffany & Co on Christmas Day, which made her cry.
"Everybody is probably thinking this is an engagement box – Andrew got me a gorgeous promise ring and I love it so much," Tasha explained on YouTube.
Showing off the design in the instantly recognisable turquoise box, she continued: "It's so simple and I love silver. I did not expect that at all, I nearly started crying. When I first saw the box I was like… because that is an engagement box.
"When I opened it I was literally like… I didn't know what to say, nobody has ever done that to me before and now I can wear that on my finger.
"I love something meaningful like that and something special that I can just wear all the time, it's linked to Andrew, so that's why I really love it."
"Promise rings you wear on the ring finger, I swear, but we'll figure out which finger to put it on,” she added.
"But this means we're not engaged. If you see me wearing it on my ring finger, it's a promise ring."
But a big wedding could be right around the corner, as Andrew added: "It won't be long, just be patient."
