The Queen of Pop makes use of her social media platform to share a rare family photo with all of her children after they celebrate the special day together.
AceShowbiz –Madonna is celebrating Thanksgiving with her loved ones. The Queen of Pop turned to her social media platform to share a rare family photo with all six of her children on the turkey-centric holiday.
On Friday, November 25, the “Material Girl” hitmaker posted a picture that saw her posing next to her kids, Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy and twins Estere and Stelle. “What I’m thankful for…………. [yellow heart emoji],” so she captioned the post.
In the said picture, Madonna donned a sexy low-cut black dress that flashed her black lace bra. The 64-year-old “Like a Virgin” singer completed her look with black stockings, pointy black boots and matching gloves. She also had on several necklaces and rings.
Madonna’s model daughter Lourdes also looked pretty in a cropped satin black bustier that exposed her tummy. Rocco was dapper in a gray and black plaid suit with a tie and loafers with a crest. Mercy wore a black dress with military boots and a diamond necklace.
In the meantime, David sported a powder blue top with a handkerchief around his head, glasses and a necklace. As for the twins, they matched Madge’s outfit with black short dresses and matching boots.
Prior to celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday with her family, Madonna commemorated the re-release of her controversial “Sex” book. On the special day, the “Vogue” singer shared a series of sexy pictures. In one of the images, she could be seen posing in a fitted cream-colored lacy corset, putting on a busty display.
Madonna teamed up with Yves Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello to co-curate an exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of her coffee table book. Rive Droite re-issued 800 copies of the iconic singer’s groundbreaking X-rated tome, some of which will be signed and auctioned off to benefit her Raising Malawi charity.
When the book was first released in 1992, Madonna earned the equivalent of $38.6 million in today’s money for the 132-page aluminum-covered book that consisted of sexually provocative and explicit images. It went on to sell 1.5 million copies worldwide. While controversial at the time, the book is now well-regarded for its social and cultural impact and is considered a bold post-feminist and LGBT-beloved work.
Earlier in October, Madonna reflected on the backlash of her “Sex” book. “30 years ago I published a book called S.E.X. In addition to photos of me naked there were photos of Men kissing Men, Woman kissing Woman and Me kissing everyone,” she wrote on Instagram.
Madonna then name-dropped Cardi B, Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus, adding, “Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked a** and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball. You’re welcome b***hes.” The post later caused a brief feud with Cardi.
