MAFS fans slam Kwame as he releases song with ‘disgusting’ lyrics

Married At First Sight UK fans have been left shocked as one of this year's participants, Kwame Badu, released a song that has left many listeners "cringing."

Kwame, 42, married Kasia London, 36, during his time on the show, but the relationship ultimately floundered, with the couple not making it to the final commitment ceremony.

Now the release of his new music has some fans arguing that he may have had an ulterior motive for appearing on the show, and was actually searching for fame not love.

One viewer pointed out that some people had already thought he was on the reality show for self-promotion, tweeting: "The way we thought he was on that show to just promote his 'podcast.'"

An anonymous Twitter account shared a clip of the new song, Love So Real, where it was quickly slammed by his followers and other users of the social media app.

The clips includes the line: "Them tattoos on your body got me feeling naughty, my agenda" and: "Squeezing on your throat won't offend ya, there's paradise I'm going to send ya."

The song also includes the lyric: "D**k long like placenta" which had one Twitter user posting: "Kasia dodge a major bullet man 'D**k long like placenta' Sir you are in your mid forties calm it."

Another wrote: "These are some of the most offensive bars I've heard in a hot minute, and that includes the men objectifying women bars."

While a third labelled the song: "sooooooo cringe" and a fourth said: "Mandem, it’s okay to sit your boys down and tell them music isn’t for everyone."

"No wonder he doesn't want anyone to know where he lives," joked another person, referencing the fact that when taking part in the homestays part of the series Kwame did not take Kasia to his home and instead the pair sat on a park bench.

Kwame has since defended this decision, explaining in an Instagram fan Q&A: "I wanted to protect the home my kids live in with me."

"But I made it clear to Kasia numerous times that I am happy to book an Uber while we were jamming and go to my yard privately, as in her and I, but not cameras showing my road, my living room, my bedroom – that’s too much of me.

"I also kept my kids off the show and all this was fully understood prior to filming by production and K, but that explanation didn’t make the edits."

Since the show finished Kasia has scrubbed all content with Kwame from her Instagram, and even hilariously edited him out of their wedding photos, replacing him with a red blob.

Sharing the updated snaps she wrote: "This 1 was NEVER going to be for me and I'm okay with that. The wedding was a practice run & I've learned what NOT to do next time."
