Matthew Perry’s mom takes dog for a walk with stepdad ahead of funeral

Friends star Matthew Perry dies aged 54

Matthew Perry’s mother, Suzanne Perry, and his stepfather, veteran Dateline correspondent Keith Morrison, were seen taking a leisurely walk with their dog near their residence last Friday.

This sighting comes in the wake of the Friends actor’s untimely death, which authorities are investigating as an apparent drowning.

Nearly one week after Perry’s passing, his parents were observed taking comfort in the company of family and pausing for a moment at a local cafe.

In a statement released to People magazine, the family expressed their devastation:

“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother,” they said. “Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”

Keith was spotted grocery shopping, appearing grief-stricken less than a week after his son’s death.

Tributes have flooded social media from his friends and fans, including the cast of Friends releasing their joint statement last week.

The date of Perry’s funeral has yet to be made public, but his body was released by the Los Angeles County coroner for his family to make arrangements.

Authorities responded to a distress call on the afternoon of Saturday last week at Perry’s Pacific Palisades home, as reported by The Post.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed the arrival of first responders at 4:07 pm, followed shortly by the Los Angeles Police Department. A large white tent was erected at the scene as investigators worked, and Perry’s body was removed later that evening.

“The patient was found by a bystander who had re-positioned the victim where the head was out of water,” the LAFD stated.

“The patient was deceased prior to first response arrival,” they concluded, noting that fire personnel performed a quick medical assessment confirming his death.
