Maya Jama shares sweet video of Stormzy supporting her

Maya Jama appeared to confirm she and Stormzy are back together as she took to Instagram to share a video featuring the rapper.

The Love Island host returned to UK from Fiji today and was picked up by her beau at the airport.

In the video, the singer could be seen waving around a picture of her and a sign that reads: “Maya Jama’s #1 fan.”

Off-camera, Maya could be heard gushing: “You are so cute. Thanks! Put it down now…”

Over the clip, Maya added laughing and emotional emojis to convey how she felt about the thoughtful yet hilarious surprise.

The former couple first dated from 2015 to 2019 and in May this year, they were rumoured to have reconciled.

In photos obtained by The Sun, the pair could be seen chatting intimately at the backstage afterparty, following the Vossi Bop rapper’s triumphant show.

Maya recently opened up about the couple’s four year romance, saying: “None of us really knew the level of importance it held to a certain group of people, us being together.

“We were both super ambitious. We were both from similar upbringings and we were both just little grafters that have made something good of ourselves.

“It was lovely when it was lovely, and then you move,” she told the current issue of Vogue.

Meanwhile, Stormzy became emotional discussing their split last autumn, expressing his regret in a Louis Theroux documentary.

“My breakup, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man,” he admitted.

“It was, like, ‘OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you’. Away from someone passing away, that’s the biggest loss you can have. “The whole f***ing palaver that surrounded that situation, do you know what I mean?

“There were other things in terms of mistakes I’d made. I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate, love and care for his woman.”
