Meghan MarkleandPrince Harrywere seen mingling with commuters as they returned to London by train following their appearance at the One Young World Summit in Manchester.

The event marked the Duchess of Sussex’s first public appearance in the UK since returning briefly in June for theQueen’s Platinum Jubilee, after the royal couple stepped back from official duty in 2021 in a move that has since been dubbed ‘Megxit’.

The former actress said that she is"very happy to be back in the UK"as she gave the keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the One Young World Summit at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

Returning from the event the pair chose to travel by train, arriving back at London Euston train station with their security and other commuters.

Both at the summit and arriving back in Euston, Meghanstunned in head-to-toe red , wearing bright trousers and a matching blouse with a scarf-style tie – both by Valentino.

She paired this look with sky high, red stilettos, and a pair of gold earrings.

Fans of the former Suits star loved her look, with one writing: “She looks so happy, she looks so beautiful, so wise yet youthful, skin glowing, serving modern fashion, with those public speaking skills unmatched, this is some Queen s**t.

“Meghan Markle is the moment, she is the IT girl.”

Another fan deemed her "Meghan the Queen of Red Suits.”

While a third joked: "Name a more iconic duo than Meghan Markle and red… you can't btw."

Contrasting her bold look, Prince Harry wore a more toned down navy suit and tie.

The One Young World summit was the first stop on the Sussex’s unofficial Europe tour.

Since the couple have stepped back from being working Royals, the trip is not an official tour, but certainly has all the hallmarks of a Royal tour.

The Sussexes are reported to be using Frogmore Cottage in Windsor as their home base during the Europe trip.

Harry and Meghan's next stop is Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year To Go event.

Then they’ll return to the UK for the WellChild Awards in London where Harry is set to deliver a speech on Thursday.

The Sussex’s trip kicked off just days after Meghan’scontroversial interview with The Cut magazine .

In this interview she said it takes “a lot of effort” to forgive and hinted that she can “say anything”.

She added that “just by existing” she and Harry were “upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy” before they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.
