Kathy Griffin, 62, is known for her comedic ways and outspoken personality and her opinion on the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Netflix documentary was no different. The star compared Harry to Armie Hammer and criticised the royals for thinking they “could help the world” in her latest quip.
There’s just some comedy there!

Kathy took to her Instagram story to share her thoughts on the Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary in view of her 697,000 followers.
The comedian touched on the couple’s “aspirational” plans to help the world, but admitted she doubted there would be much success.
She said: “Also like, acting like they can do so much good in the world, which is great and aspirational.
“But when’s the last time a royal did anything that helped the world?
“That’s all I’m saying. There’s just some comedy there.”
She then wanted to make sure that she mentioned that she “loved” the royal couple, but finished by jokingly comparing Prince Harry to Armie Hammer.
Kathy quipped: “I’m going to watch, I love them, etc. [But] what about how they met? … They met on freaking Instagram.
“Prince Harry was just flipping through Instagram, looking for a hot brunette like every other guy in L.A.
“So I’m disappointed, yeah. I thought this was going to be a great love story.
“I mean, have they not watched ‘The Crown’? … Prince Harry’s like Armie freaking Hammer [finding women on social media].
“What if Prince Harry’s the new House of Hammer? But really, Instagram?”
House of Hammer was a true-crime documentary about the Call Me by Your Name star after he was accused of emotional abuse, violence and sexual assault by multiple women in early 2021.
He vehemently denies all claims.
In this week’s instalment of the Harry and Meghan docuseries, Harry accused Prince William of “screaming” and King Charles seemed to accuse of lying when they refused the couple’s request for a “half in half out” Megxit.
This would have allowed them to continue earning while picking and choosing royal duties and keeping all their titles.
The Duke of Sussex alleged his older brother, now heir to the throne, scared him in January 2020 while he “screamed and shouted” at him in front of his father and grandmother when he tried to sort out a deal to leave the UK.
Harry also accused Charles of telling untruths to his face and Her Majesty of saying nothing at the now infamous “Sandringham Summit”, and told of the “heartbreaking” rift with his brother.
He said: “It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me and my father say things that just simply weren’t true.
“And my grandmother, quietly sit there and take it all in.”
The Duke of Sussex claimed: “I went in with the same proposal that we’d already made public, but once I got there I was given five options – one being all in, no change, five being all out.
“I chose option three in the meeting – half in, half out. Have our own jobs but also work in support of the Queen. It became very clear very quickly that the goal was not up for discussion or debate.”
