Singer Shane Lynch has "had enough" of being in Boyzone.

The hitmaker, 46, who originally made up one fifth of the Irish boyband, explained to Christine Lampard on Lorraine that he had no intentions of rejoining with the lads.

He appeared on Lorraine Kelly's famed daytime programme alongside his wife Sheena White, who he has been married to for a whopping 15-years.

The married couple took the ITV show via video link during their holiday to sunny Portugal where they were celebrating their anniversary.

Speaking to Christine, who is filling in for the Scottish host during the holiday period, talk turned to Shane's future plans with Boyzone.

Frank Lampard's wife asked: "I know you get asked it all the time and I'm going to continue to ask it, until you say yes.

"But Boyzone. What's happening? Is this break going to come to an end?"

Turning to chart toppers wife, Christine added: "Would you even want him to go back Sheena? Where does it all lie?"

Interjecting, Shane lunged in to answer the question but wanted to be "honest" with his response.

He told the stand-in host: "Look being honest, I love my boys to pieces and I think for me personally the last set we ever did, certainly in Ireland."

The No Matter What singer chimed: "I came on with yourself there and you looked after me very well… thank you very much, I was in a very delicate position" before continuing: "That was kind of the last show for me."

Shane went on: "I've had enough really, I love business life and I love everything that I've created and built up to because sometimes you go back on tour and you lose a lot.

"You lose a lot of family life. So I think I'm steady where I am and very happy not to be apart of that world anymore."

Sheena and Shane have recently moved their lives from the south of the UK to the north – and the pair are loving their adventure.

With the move, came a fresh opportunity for the pair to appear on the Real Housewives Of Cheshire for a second series which the duo are really enjoying.

Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV from 9am.
