Former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan worried some fans on social media after sharing some pictures of herself without her wedding ring.

The star, who is married to ex-TOWIE star Mark Wright, wowed fans with recent snaps from her idyllic Italian holiday.

Michelle, 36, posed up a storm in stunning pictures from the Amalfi coast as she soaked up the summer sun.

One photograph showed her having a stroll by the pool looking glamorous in a straw hat and cream-coloured mini dress.

Another saw the actress walking in front of a breathtaking mountain view wearing a fabulous, bright yellow maxi dress.

However, one of the pics sparked concern from some of Michelle’s 6.7 million Instagram followers, as her wedding band was noticeably absent.

Nonetheless, a couple of her followers were quick to point out that the star is often seen without the jewellery for practical reasons.

The star married her husband Mark, 36, back in 2015 and the pair have been loved up ever since.

The pair have even been holidaying together, sharing sweet snaps of the glorious vacation on both their social media accounts.

Under a series of photographs, Michelle posted yesterday with the caption “Beautiful Ravello by day”, one follower commented on her missing ring.

The Instagram user named Stella wrote: “Have a great time. Just a quick question do you only wear your wedding rings when you have a photo shoot with Mark as I’ve noticed you don’t wear them very often.” (sic)

But Michelle’s fans quickly rushed to her defence, with Jayne commenting: “I Never wear my rings on holiday what with sea, sand, sun ream and pools.

“Also what’s it got to do with anyone else,” she added indignantly. (sic)

Meanwhile, an account labelled Perfect Place Cards penned: “Can I just say why are people so obsessed with no ring.

“People go on holiday, could be working somewhere but I just want to remind everyone the world is not the same anymore.

“There are thieves and unkind people out there that may want to take your rings, your wallet, your purse, your phone, but maybe when someone is out and about they don’t want to wear their rings it doesn’t mean something is wrong and can cause a lot of people and stress and upset for no reason. Kind comments is the way forward.” (sic)
