Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson has been slammed by mum-shamers after she posted an adorable cycling clip from her holiday.
Louise, 33, enjoyed her summer on a family holiday with her fiancé Ryan Libbey and their one-year-old boy, Leo.
While on the holiday, Louise posted a short clip to her Instagram from a bike ride she had with Leo. In the caption for the clip, Louise wrote: "What are you grateful for today? Me: THIS. First time cycling with Leo and his face has me in stitches. I don’t know why but the spiky hair / Cheshire Cat grin combo is giving me major Sherman from American Pie vibes."
However, not everyone was so happy to see the sweet clip as many people slammed Louise for not putting a helmet on her tot as they cycled together.
One furious commenter wrote: "It’s irrelevant that it’s a short ride. The child should be protected with a helmet. It only takes one second to fall off a bike and cause a head injury."
While another upset follower said: "So unbelievably dangerous! As a paramedic it makes me very sad that as a “public” figure you're not wearing one and also allowing your child to not wear one."
A third penned: "Omg! Leo is NOT properly strapped in either! Please be careful Louise."
Somebody else noted: "Please wear helmets, if not yourself please put one on Leo, as a paediatric HCA I've seen the damage not wearing one can do."
However, Louise did not have to do her own bidding as many fans were quick to shut down the negativity in the comments.
One commenter fired back at the mum-shamers: "For goodness sake, give Louise a break. Leo is her child, she can do what she chooses – as she said she was on a road with no cars. If you can’t be kind, don’t say anything!"
While another said: "Let’s hope all these comments don’t push you over the edge tonight, if you follow her you know her story, so quick to judge."
Louise had a far from easy pregnancy as she nearly died twice during childbirth when she had Leo.
She was a main feature on the reality TV show Made In Chelsea after joining with her brother Sam.
However, she left the show in 2019 and met her partner Ryan while on the show as he was her personal trainer in the hit series.
