Just weeks after welcoming her first daughter Bambi with Love Island beau Tommy Fury, Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about how life as new parents has changed her relationship.
Conducting an Instagram Q&A with her 7.5 million followers last night, the 23-year-old star was told by a fan, "I hear people say all the time that a baby changes your relationship," before being asked, "Is it true for you?x".
Posting a snap of Tommy, 24, leaning in to kiss her whilst the couple and baby Bambi stood inside a lift, the blonde beauty – who found fame after appearing on the hit ITV2 dating series in 2019 – admitted: "Yes… it's made us one million times stronger."
She added: "Having a baby is all about team work, we are still figuring it out together but we are really lucky that becoming parents have only affected our relationship positively [love heart emoji]".
The PrettyLittleThing creative director was later asked by another fan: "Is having a baby harder than you imagined?"
"Yes. 100% Yes," Molly-Mae replied. "I'm not going to beat around the bush… I was not prepared."
The reality star – who welcomed Bambi back in January – continued: "She's completely and utterly worth it all though. Every single hard moment!"
During her pregnancy, fans of the couple were left concerned for Molly-Mae after she admitted to struggling being apart from Tommy for long periods of time due to his boxing commitments.
But earlier this month, the sportsman – who is brother to heavyweight champion Tyson Fury – bagged victory in Saudi Arabia against American YouTube star Jake Paul after eight rounds, and has since dedicated the win to Molly-Mae and Bambi, telling fans he’s ready to focus on being the best and father he can be.
Speaking as a guest on Loose Women earlier this month, he said: "It was tough. During the build-up, her emotions were up and down. On the actual night of the fight, she never watched it – she was upstairs breastfeeding at the time."
Describing becoming a dad as "the best thing that has ever happened to me", Tommy continued: "Waking up everyday and seeing her beautiful face, you can’t be in a bad mood. I feel like a different man. I’m very thankful to god that we’re in this position."
During the Instagram Q&A last night, Molly-Mae gave an insight into how she felt during Tommy's big fight.
"I don't cope," she confessed, posting a selfie wearing headphones and cradling her elephant teddy bear Elly Belly. "This was me when the last fight was on. I didn't watch. Funny story… we had just settled Bambi and just as the starting bell went, she woke up screaming.
"The whole 8 rounds I was breast feeding her. My whole body shaking, don't know how she got any milk."
She continued: "I really don't cope well with it tbh, I think I've actually gotten worse with time lol".
