Gardeners’ World presenter Monty Don recently announced the arrival of his granddaughter Daisy Rose Don. The BBC favourite now has another reason to celebrate after he shared the family has welcomed another baby’s arrival.

The gardening expert took to Twitter and shared the happy news with his 271,000 followers, as he was inundated with congratulatory messages.

Monty, 67, and his wife Sarah Don were already proud grandparents to their grandson George, granddaughter Daisy, and they have now welcomed another grandson into the family.

The horticulturlist penned: “I acquired another grandson yesterday. Everyone very happy.”

He was swiftly inundated with messages as fans also shared their delight about the happy news.

Twitter user, @ArleneJCook gushed: “Congratulations! Another gardener in the making!”

@JadeWalker penned: “Congratulations! And welcome to the world, little one.”

@simonmilham joked: “Congratulations! (I have a couple of spare daughters if that acquisition doesn’t work out. Can swap for a fuchsia or two?)”

“Congratulations. You can never have enough grandsons, or granddaughters. They bring such joy,” @Gilly offered.

The horticulturalists shares three grown up children, Tom, Adam, and Freya, with his wife Sarah.

Monty recently sent social media fans into a meltdown when he shared a candid photo with his granddaughter Daisy, who was born in May.

The horticulturist joked his bundle of joy had been left momentarily “bemused” while being cuddled by a “strange man”.

Taking to Twitter on August 7, the BBC favourite shared an adorable photo of Daisy, who was born in May.

Monty sweetly held his granddaughter close to his chest as he rested his head on top of the little one’s sun hat.

The gardening expert, who boasts 270,000 followers, was inundated with messages after he racked up over 57,000 likes after sharing a rare family photo.

He tweeted: “My granddaughter Daisy – slightly bemused by sun hat and being cuddled by strange man but strange man could not be happier.”

The BBC presenter’s fans flocked to the comment section as they gushed over the heartwarming picture.

Twitter user, @monmastres tweeted: “Beautiful photo!!!! Thanks for sharing! She looks gorgeous!”
