Nipsey Hussle's death certificate says rapper died 35 minutes after LA shooting

He and the other two men that were shot were taken to hospital – police confirmed Hussle’s death and said the other men involved remain in a stable condition.

Police officials have since arrested and charged Eric Holder for Nipsey’s murder. Holder has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Nipsey Hussle’s family have confirmed that a memorial will take place to honour the artist at the Staples Center.

The Los Angeles venue is the same place where Michael Jackson’s tribute show was held back in 2009 and will play host to a two-hour service in Nipsey’s memory on 11 April.

Nipsey is survived by his long-term girlfriend Lauren London and their son Kross, as well as his daughter Emani from a previous relationship.

Following news of his death, celebrities paid tribute to Nipsey on social media, including the likes of Beyonce, Drake and Rihanna, while Diddy shared an impassioned speech that spoke out against violence and hate on Instagram.
