Olivia Attwood has paid tribute her close friend Clelia Theodorou after the death of her mum from a car crash.

TOWIE star Clelia posted an update to her Instagram last week announcing that her and her mum were involved in a crash back in May and had both "suffered terrible injuries".

She added she was "continuing to heal" from her injuries, but her "beautiful mum couldn't heal from hers".

Since then, thousands of tributes have been shared to Clelia's post, which she mourned the loss of her mum and paid tribute to her – with her fans, friends, and family leaving comments to share their love and thoughts.

But now, Clelia's friend and former TOWIE co-star Olivia has shared her tribute on social media.

Posting to her story, Olivia addressed her delayed response, admitting she "can't find the words" to address such a "f***ing cruel" situation.

Sharing Clelia's original post alongside her message, she wrote: "I have been delaying this post because I just can't find the words, and the truth is that's because there are just no words that can sum up seeing someone you love endure so much pain.

"Life is so f***ing cruel. There was no one quite like Gill, and I can only promise to be there for her girls always. Family Forever."

She signed off the post with an angel wing emoji and white heart emoji. Olivia also commented on Clelia's Instagram post, writing: "The strongest person I know. The best mummy. Here for you forever and always. @tommy.cole thank you for taking such amazing care of our girl xxxxxxxx".

Clelia, who is currently pregnant, made the statement six days ago, confirming the crash happened at the end of May. Despite the tragic loss of her mum, she confirmed her "precious miracle baby is doing so well".

Her statement begins saying: "The hardest words I've ever had to say.

"At the end of May, myself and my mum were unfortunately involved in an accident, we both suffered terrible injuries.

"I am continuing to heal from mine after weeks in hospital but it's with the biggest regret to say that my beautiful mum couldn't heal from hers.

"The person I never, ever wanted to say goodbye to. Who loved me unconditionally, the pure definition of a mother's love.

"The pain is paralysing, this loss we are suffering is beyond a feeling to even try to describe. My heart will never heal from this, life will never, ever be the same. It doesn't feel real and it never will, I just want my mum back."

She then confirmed her baby is doing well, and says her strength is from her late mum. She wrote: "Our precious miracle baby is doing so well and powering throughout it all and I know this is because of you mum.

"I will always make sure they know how much you already loved them and I promise they will always know they had the strongest, most caring, hilarious, giving and loving Nan they could ever have dreamt of.

"I go through multiple emotions on a daily basis and the road to my recovery physically is a long one, but our miracle baby gives me so much hope and I will do everything I can to be even half the mum to my baby that my mum was to me.

"I'm so grateful for Tom, our family, my friends for the unlimited support and help through this trauma – thank you from the bottom of my heart."
