Our Yorkshire Farm stars Amanda and Clive Owen have opened up about the night they first met back in 1997.
Shepherdess Amanda, 47, and Clive, 47, reminisced about their first meeting in scenes filmed before they announced their split in June after 22 years of marriage.
Back in 1997, Amanda was just 21 years old and working as a trainee shepherdess, while Clive, who was 42 at the time, had just split from his wife of 13 years, leaving him to look after Ravenseat Farm on his own.
Amanda recalled: "The first time you and I met you it was a very dark evening. And I'd come to borrow a tup, remember?"
A farmer that Amanda was working for at the time had sent her to Clive's farm in order to borrow a ram.
Clive responded: "I do remember. This six-foot-something woman knocked at my door," prompting Amanda to quip: "He shouldn't have answered it, should he?"
Clive agreed, laughing and then sweetly added: "But I was very taken with her, you couldn't not be." The farmer then invited Amanda in for a cup of tea but they didn't necessarily hit if off straight away.
In an interview with The Times last year, Amanda recalled: “I saw Clive, he invited me in, the house was trashed – the house is still trashed – we had a cup of tea, chatted for a little while, basic small talk, I got the tup and headed off again. Didn’t think any more of it.”

Romance eventually blossomed between the pair and they went on to enjoy a five-year relationship before tying the knot in 2000 in a stunning ceremony.
Amanda and Clive went on to welcome nine children together, despite neither ever expecting to have such a large family.
They are parents to Raven, 20, Reuben, 17, Miles, 15, Edith, 12, Violet, ten, Sidney, nine, Annas, seven, Clemmie, five, and Nancy, four, with the entire family all residing on the farm together.
Amanda and Clive had been open about hitting a 'rocky patch' in their romance last year, which saw the mum-of-nine move into a nearby rental property for a brief period in an attempt to salvage their marriage.
However, in June 2022 Amanda released a statement announcing that she and Clive had made the "difficult" decision to part ways.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family.
"Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."
