Pregnant former Love Island star Laura Anderson fought back tears during a fan Q&A as she clarified that she is "definitely not" on good terms with ex boyfriend, Gary Lucy.
Laura, 33, announced her pregnancy on 15 February, sharing a video montage which was captioned: "Our hearts are full Baby Lucy due 'Summer 23," however, just hours later it emerged that she and babydaddy Gary had split.
Former EastEnders actor Gary and reality star Laura met on Celebs Go Dating in August 2022, and were officially dating later last year.
After initially remaining silent on the split, Laura broke her silence a few days ago, to say that her "baby is her number one priority," before revealing all about her pregnancy and breakdown of her relationship with Gary in an Instagram Q&A on Thursday.
She dressed for comfort in a pink dressing gown and headband, and she fought back tears whilst answering one fan who wrote: "Everyone will probably be asking about baby but more importantly, how are you?"
Laura answered: "Aww, that's really so nice…oh my God I feel like I'm going to cry."
She continued: "It's been a very stressful few months, but the only way is up."
The star didn't hold back on another fan question, which asked if she and Gary were on good terms, as she widened her eyes and said very directly: "Definitely not."
Laura also revealed that her pregnancy was "planned" and that it "worked the first time", before revealing that she hadn't worked out yet how she and Gary were going to co-parent, with him living in Essex and her in Scotland.
She did, however, insist that Gary's four children will "one hundred percent" be part of their new sibling's life, as she said that she and Gary's ex-wife Natasha, who is mum to his children, "have already spoken about it".
Explaining her reasoning behind changing her announcement post from "Baby Lucy" to "Baby Anderson", Laura said that she didn't want to decide anything until the baby is born, as she said: "It's 2023 guys, we're not married and I'm just not sure what the right thing to do is yet."
In the candid chat, Laura admitted that she is "absolutely terrified" to bring the baby up on her own but said "what can you do?".
She remained tight-lipped on the exact reasons that she and Gary broke up, as she said: "I don't really want to get into this but there were loads of reasons…
"The truth always comes out in the end, but I definitely did not tell Gary to move to Scotland," referring to rumours that she wanted him to leave Essex and his children there to raise their baby in Scotland.
Laura then answered a question about whether she and Gary had fallen out since their pregnancy announcement.
She said: "We agreed to announce the pregnancy together and he wanted to be involved in the video but he didn't share it that day, which was difficult, and then that evening in the press he said that we'd broken up, even though he'd told me not to tell anyone."
