Prince Harry and William’s ‘peace talks’ are ‘untrue’ as brothers’ feud continues

Prince William and his younger brother Prince Harry are not communicating with each other in any way, according to a Royal source.

The once-close brothers have become estranged in recent years, following reports of an explosive rift between the pair.

There have been claims of Harry, 38, calling a truce with his brother William, 41, but rumours of peace talks between the two are seemingly wide of the mark.

According to a well-placed Royal source, neither brother has made an attempt to reach out to the other, and no telephone or Zoom calls have taken place.

The source said: “William hasn’t reached out to Harry and vice versa. They haven’t been arguing, but there hasn’t been any contact made either. No telephone calls, no FaceTime and no Zoom calls.”

OK! has approached Prince William and Prince Harry's representatives for comment.

The brothers were often seen laughing and at ease with one another at Royal engagements, but are rarely pictured together these days.

King Charles’ Coronation marked the first time the two princes were seen publicly at the same event since the release of Harry’s controversial memoir, Spare.

The Royal’s explosive autobiography was rife with a number of bombshell revelations.

Harry, the Duke of Sussex, didn’t hold back in the book, with much of the criticism directed towards his brother William, as well as his step-mother Queen Camilla – but King Charles and Kate Middleton didn’t escape the scorned Prince’s ire, either.

Detailing a brawl with his older brother, Harry revealed the future King of England wanted his younger sibling to retaliate. Harry recalled the altercation with William and said his brother “grabbed [him] by the collar”.

William accused Harry of acting like the heir and did not understand why his younger brother was not content with being the spare heir to the throne.

"It all happened so fast," he wrote in the book. "So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

He went on to further address the incident in his interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby.

Prince Harry said: “What was different here was the level of frustration, and I talk about the red mist that I had for so many years, and I saw this red mist in him. He wanted me to hit him back, but I chose not to.”

Journalist Tom also asked the dad-of-two about drugs he’s taken in the past. “There’s a fair amount of drugs. Marijuana, magic mushrooms, cocaine. I mean, that’s going to surprise people,” he said.

Harry replied: “But, important to acknowledge.”
