The Duke of Sussex is reportedly ‘secretly reaching out’ to his estranged brother about ending their royal feud and it’s likely that their father King Charles will welcome him back with open arms.
AceShowbiz -Prince William is surprised by his brother’s “secret” attempts to call a truce amid his career flop in America. Prince Harry is said to have been in “secret talks” with his elder brother in a “desperate” attempt to ask for a second chance amid their seemingly never-ending royal feud.
According to the National Enquirer (via Radar Online), Harry is “secretly reaching out” to William about moving on from their rift. Seemingly not expecting this, the Prince of Wales is said to be “stunned” by the call from his estranged brother, who moved to the U.S. with his family, including wife Meghan Markle in 2020 after stepping down as working royals.
On Harry’s chance to return to the U.K., the outlet notes that it’s likely the royal family will welcome him back with open arms. “Despite everything that’s happened, how would it look if [King] Charles said no?” a source claims.
It’s previously reported that Harry tried to end his rift with William as he’s “running out of options” after Spotify ended its deal with the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan. “Megxit has really blown up in Harry and Meghan’s faces,” a source spilled about the couple. “Hollywood seems to be turning on them.”
According to the report, Harry is starting to wonder if they made the right decision leaving England. He’s even suggested to Meghan that they return to London and the royal family. “Harry admitted he’d phoned William to call a truce and told his brother he and Meghan would be open to going back to London, where they would serve King Charles,” a source dished.
Meghan apparently disagreed with Harry about returning to the U.K. The former actress was said to be livid at the suggestion they leave California and shocked to find out that Harry had already contacted William.
As to how Harry’s brother reacted to his phone call, the so-called insider said, “William didn’t quite know what to say.” The 41-year-old father of three reportedly told Harry “he would think about his offer.”
