Rebel Wilson has revealed she was rushed to hospital over the weekend after a stunt accident on the set of her new film.
Australian actress Wilson, 43, had almost finished filming her upcoming movie Bride Hard in Savannah, Georgia when the accident took place.
She took to Instagram to reveal a photo of herself with a bruised and bloody nose.
“NOT the way I wanted to end this movie!” she captioned the post.
“Three stitches and in hospital last night after a stunt accident at 4am.”

Bride Hard is described as an action-comedy, so it’s no surprise that Wilson has been throwing herself headfirst into plenty of stunts on set.
An official synopsis reads: “When a mercenary group takes a lavish wedding hostage, they have no idea what they are in for as the Maid of Honor is actually a secret agent ready to rain hell-fire upon anyone who would ruin her best friend’s wedding.”
Unfortunately, one of the last scenes to be shot for the film clearly didn’t go as planned, leaving Wilson with a nasty injury.

Thankfully, she was well enough to post to social media just a few hours after the accident, so she’s expected to make a full recovery.
Her hospital visit comes less than a year after she welcomed her first child, daughter Royce Lillian, via surrogacy last November.
She also went public with her relationship with Ramona Agruma last year.

The production company behind Bride Hard, Balcony 9 Productions, has been granted a waiver to film during the SAG-AFTRA strike while many other stars head to the picket lines.
Wilson most recently appeared in the Netflix comedy film Senior Year as well as the drama The Almond and the Seahorse.
She has several more projects lined up, including comedies Rocking the Boat with Leslie Mann and K-Pop: Lost in America.
