Report: Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Call It Quits After Six Years of Dating

The ‘All to Well’ hitmaker, who is currently on her ‘The Eras Tour’, reportedly broke up with the 32-year-old British actor a few weeks ago after being together for six years.

AceShowbizTaylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have gone their separate way. If a new report is to be believed, the “Anti-Hero” singer and the “Conversations with Friends” star broke up a few weeks ago.

Revealing the news of Taylor and Joe’s relationship status was Entertainment Tonight. A source told the outlet that the split was amicable and “it was not dramatic.”

“The relationship had just run its course,” the unnamed source further elaborated “It’s why [Joe] hasn’t been spotted at any shows.”

Taylor and Joe, who have been dating for six years, have yet to confirm the breakup report. However, a friend of the pair told PEOPLE in late March that the British actor remained supportive of his girlfriend, who is currently on her “The Eras Tour”.

“Joe will travel with her when he can,” the said friend told the publication. “They are great together. Joe is super supportive of her career.”

In October 2022, Taylor revealed that her romance with Joe inspired the “Midnights” opening song, “Lavender Haze”. “I happened on the phrase ‘lavender haze’ when I was watching ‘Mad Men], and I looked it up because I thought it sounded cool, and it turns out that it’s a common phrase used in the ’50s where they would just describe being in love,” she said at the time.

“If you were in the lavender haze that meant you were in that all-encompassing love glow. I thought that was really beautiful,” the Grammy winner continued. “I guess, theoretically, when you’re in the lavender haze you’ll do anything to stay there and not let people bring you down off of that cloud.”

“Like my relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff and we just ignore it,” she detailed. “This song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff.”
