TV star Rylan Clark has been left terrified after a snake got loose in his house.
Taking to Instagram, the 34 year old former X Factor personality declared "I won't be sleeping tonight" as he informed his followers of the reptile that had entered his property in Essex.
It's not the first time that Rylan has had a snake loose in his house, as he also discovered one in August last year.
Speaking to the camera after his latest scaly intruder this year, Rylan said: ""I won't be sleeping tonight".
He then told his fans: "We didn't find the snake…the lovely people from GTK Animals, they have some zoo where they find alligators and stuff, I wasn't really listening because my head…
"But we haven't found the snake."
Rylan continued: "I've come back in and I forgot that I left my belt on the kitchen side and it scared the s*** out of me.
"So no update on the snake, but we've found the frog.
"So yeah…the snake lives another day.
"I'll be checking those cameras an we'll go from there.
"I won't be sleeping tonight, have a lovely night."
Rylan captioned the post: "Snake 1 Rylan 0."
The post generated many comments, including one from GTK Animals, who Rylan had enlisted to help find the slithering creatures.
They wrote: "Our pleasure and as soon it’s spotted again we will be back!!!" before adding a number of snake emojis.
One of Rylan's Instagram followers commented: "OMG, you are so brave! I would have moved out until it was found if it were me."
Another said: "Feel your pain, hate snakes, i would spend the night standing on a chair, sheer terror. xx."
A third wrote: "I wouldn’t stay in the house! Make sure your toilet seat is closed!" as a fourth commented: "Bless, hope your ok. I would not be staying there tonight. You are braver than me. Take care. Cheryl."
This comes after Rylan's appearance on Loose Women on Tuesday, September 26, as he admitted that he was 'devastated' not to be invited back to be a part of Big Brother, which relaunches on October 8 after a five-year hiatus.
He won the 11th celebrity version of the show in 2013 and went on to successfully host Big Brother spin-off, Bit on the Side until 2018, but he was visibly emotional when chatting about it returning without him.
He started by saying that Big Brother was a massive part of his life. Then he continued: "It was my favourite thing in the world to do and for the past five years I've been very vocal saying, 'It should come back."
"In my eyes it's still the best reality show that's ever been out there."
He revealed he also didn't know much detail before fans did, despite having been a favourite to host the reboot. "I didn't know what was going on with it but I've always said, 'I hope I'm a part of it. Stupidly to a point, I just thought 'I've been there for six, nearly seven years…'"
He then broke to reveal how much he loves the show, reminding Loose Women host Ruth Langsford that she has been to his house and has seen the diary room he has built in.
