Ex-rated: The watershed programme, which hit screens last week, asks contestants to speak about their sex-life before rating themselves out of 10

‘Channel 4 wanted to do a show that was sex positive, which I think is very important, you know I’ve been a single man now for two years.

‘I believe you should be positive about things like sex, but wanting to have an entertainment spin to it but not horrible.

‘So, [using Colleen as an example] you’ll come on the show and I’ll ask you to rate yourself out of 10 for a number of different subjects to do with sex, and we’ll have a little chat and say “oh I rate myself an 8 for this, a 7 for this, a 10 for that.”

‘Then we get two of your exes out that have also rated you as well and then we compare those numbers and then I’m sure everyone, me included, have all got different things we can work on in the bedroom.

‘We then have our sex-pert Ruby, and we the do our sex-ercise.’

His Loose Women appearance comes after he posted a video of mother Linda using a wheelchair lift as she returned to hospital following her nightmare fall in Spain.

The visit comes after Linda suffered horrific injuries in Spain in September during her first holiday in ten years.

Earlier this month, Linda was rushed to hospital and had to have emergency surgery after her horror fall.

As a result, Rylan was forced to pull out of his radio presenting gig and replaced by Scott Mills as he cared for his mother, while giving fans updates on her health.

The presenter also likened the overwhelming support and messages he and Linda received to when someone had died.

Explaining the situation to his listeners, Rylan said: ‘Unfortunately decided to take mummy Linda on holiday… she’s not been away for 10 years. And what (did) she go and do? Falls over and breaks an arm and leg, what (are) you going to do? Classic Linda, classic Linda.

‘Now a little broken arm and a leg, (I) can deal with that but when you take that up with everything else (that) is wrong with her nightmare, especially abroad.

‘But we are both back, mummy Linda is home safe and sound, she is recovering, she’s chilling out.

‘There’s honestly, for want for a better term, I don’t mean this in a rude way, It’s like someone’s died. The amount of people that have been around the house, there’s flowers. It’s all gone on.

‘All the neighbours come out. It was like someone had come home from war.’
