Rylan Clark was met with quite the horror over the weekend when he discovered a snake in his home.

The 33 year old could not keep calm – understandably – after he found the slimy reptile making its way into his Essex residence, and filmed the whole terrifying encounter for his fans to see.

Rylan was heard screaming in a clip uploaded on Instagram Stories as the snake was seen slithering along his tiled floor.

He desperately asked his followers: “There is a f*****g snake in my house. What do you do? What do you do?”

The presenter then pleaded: “Can someone please tell me what do you do because this is why you shouldn’t live alone. I don’t know what to do. There is a snake in my house, I repeat, there is a snake in my house and I think I’m gonna die.”

Rylan joked to fans if they could “please call the police” as he searched on Google the ways to handle a snake carefully.

He then asked on Stories if he could put the reptile “in an envelope” and proceeded to try and shoo it away.

Rylan shrieked: “I tried to touch it and now it’s moving, it’s moving, someone send help!

“Where are you going? Go the other way!” and later shouted: “Oh my god, what is this creature?”

The TV star begged for help again as he wondered whether the snake would “attack” him, or even worse, “kill” him, and continued to search online for more guidance.

“If I’m not here tomorrow, then thank you, Jesus, for everything,” Rylan said.

Luckily for the star, the snake eventually moved away from the spot it had been sliding over – though Rylan’s nerves were already shot by this time.

He continued: “I’m not in a good way, I’ve been Googling can you get killed by them. Why is this happening? Why is there a snake in my house? Is that normal?

“What if there’s, like, the mum or the dad snake, is it real? Can they climb stairs?”

Fans were left in hysterics by Rylan’s reaction to the snake and many tried to help, informing him on what kind of snake the reptile was — which only scared Rylan more.

He added: “I knew there were a few snakes in Brentwood but I didn’t realise there was actual snakes. You just don’t need this on a hangover.”
