S Club 7 say ‘door is always open’ for Hannah
Jo O’Meara took to Instagram on Sunday evening to remember her “idol” following their death.
The S Club 7 star shared a snap of her loved one and penned: “Today I learned that this beautiful lady Annette Mason passed away.
“Growing up she was my idol. To this day I say there was not a singer like her. I would watch her in complete awe wanting to be just like her.
“She taught me the bare bones of how to be a singer, teaching me mic control to stage presence and how to hold onto high notes.
“I will always remember the duets, the advice, and the voice of an angel! Rest in forever peace Annette.”

The 44-year-old was inundated with support from her 58,000 followers. Her S Club bandmate, Bradley McIntosh, penned: “So sorry for your loss hun my thoughts are with her family.”
Lou added: “Annette admired you as much as you did her. We were only just talking about you last weekend. She was excited to catch you on tour. We’ll come in her memory.”
And Matthew echoed: “Oh, Jo. I am so sorry to hear of Annette’s passing. Sounds like Annette taught you well in how to be a singer. I send a virtual hug and love to you at this tough time.”
It comes after Paul Cattermole was found dead at his home in Dorset on April 6. His cause of death was later confirmed as natural causes.

His death tragically came just weeks after S Club 7 announced a reunion tour.
S Club have since confirmed they will continue with their tour, which is due to begin in October.
Hannah Spearritt, who dated Paul in the early 2000s, has decided not to be a part of the tour.
Appearing on The One Show last week, the remaining five S Club members discussed their comeback and said the “door will always be open” for Hannah if she ever chooses to return.
