FormerTOWIEstarsFerne McCann, 32, andSam Faiers'31, rather rocky friendship and working relationship has taken another blow following some of Ferne’s voice notes being leaked online.
Following the appearance of these notes online, Sam’s mum, Suzie Wells, 53, accused the 32 year old oflaunching a "vile" attackon her daughter.
And now, speaking to OK!, a source close to Sam has revealed how The Mummy Diaries star has been left feeling.
The source said: “Naturally, Sam is incredibly hurt and upset by these comments especially from someone she considered to be a good friend, she’s at a loss as to why Ferne has decided to speak about her in such a derogatory way.”
While Sam and Ferne have known each other for a long time, the pair’s friendship has been known to have its ups and downs.
In 2017, the pair were said to have fallen out amid reports of a rivalry between their ITV shows, First Time Mum and The Mummy Diaries.
A source previously told The Sun: “Sam felt like Ferne was trying to emulate her success by launching a rival programme – and it made things awkward between them.
“Ferne was never going to turn down the show as it was an opportunity for her to make money for Sunday but without Sam's support the breakdown of their friendship was inevitable.”
The duo were said to have rekindled their friendship in 2018, and since then have supported each other throughout multiple milestones in their life, including birthday celebrations and holidays.
Sam additionally made an appearance on Ferne's ITV show during season five.
However, Ferne’s friendship with Sam, and the Faiers-Wells family may be at an end following the leaking of these notes,with both Sam’s mum and aunt speaking out against Ferne.
Writing in an Instagram comment, Sam’s aunt Libby Wells, called on Herbal Life to strip Ferne of her ambassador status, and referred to her as a “disgusting woman.”
While Suzie took to her Instagram stories, telling fans: “This has come as a complete shock to myself and my family.
“Ferne has always been a very close family member to all of us over the past 20 years.”
Continuing she added: “Since the voice note has surfaced more have been sent – very upsetting nasty things. We are as shocked as you are! Nobody should ever speak about their friends like this ever! My girls are my absolute everything and I'll do anything to protect them.”
