Sam Smith wore a thong, fishnet tights and latex heels to perform their new Barbie single, Man I Am, during the US leg of their Gloria world tour.
The 31 year old singer didn't hold back when it came to their stage get-ups, as they gyrated around the stage in South Beach, Miami, in a range of skimpy outfits.
At one point, Sam, who identifies as non-binary, took to the stage in a black top hat adorned with protruding red devil horns, whilst brandishing a red glittery devil's trident.
They also rocked a latex thong, fishnet tights and thigh-high latex boots as they belted out their tracks to the adoring crowd.
Later, they donned lacy elbow-length gloves and a corset, and twirled a red feather boa as they turned around to bare their derriere to the audience.
In another outfit change, Sam, who recently stepped out with their rumoured new boyfriend, wore a pair of jeans adorned with hearts, whilst they opted to forgo a top as they danced around in sync with the backing dancers.
Sam has made a triumphant return to the stage after they had to postpone their worldwide tour earlier this year, due to issues with their vocal chords, after they left the stage in Manchester mid-set.
After the fourth song during the show in Manchester in May, Sam stopped performing and the lights in the arena went off, plunging the audience into darkness – and leaving them terrified.
Initially, there was speculation there'd been a power cut before it was confirmed the show had been halted due to vocal issues. The dramatic end to the show comes a few days after the sixth anniversary of the Manchester bombing attack in 2017, with some of Sam's fans expressing fear in the arena.
In an Instagram story after the cancelled show, Sam said: "Dearest sailors, I don't know what to say honestly.
"I fought off a virus a few weeks ago and since then we have travelled across Europe and had such incredible shows.
"I came off stage and have tried everything to get my voice back in gear but it won't.
"I am honestly heartbroken I couldn’t finish the show tonight for you all. I love you all. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry x."
Fans took to social media to comment on the incident, noting the timing and how it might have made some show viewers feel.
One fan penned: "Apparently lights down, no immediate explanation. How scary for fans in the AO Arena Manchester, just days after the 6th anniversary of losing 22 people. #SamSmith #Insensitive."
Another said: "It was hideous how it happened and how the crowd had to wait to be told after they [were] sounding literally incredible – but they've got to look after themselves and their voice ultimately. The promo for the Madonna song was up on digital billboards across Manchester too…"
