Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim has spilled the beans on his new girlfriend, and things seem pretty serious.

The Oppenheim Group owner recently started dating Marie-Lou Nurk, after his romance with Netflix co-star Chrishell Stause came to an end at the end of last year.

The former couple split after they weren’t able to agree on the future of their relationship, with the former actress looking to start a family while the businessman was unsure if he wanted children.

However, in a new interview, he explained that he is definitely ‘open’ to the idea of walking down the aisle with his new partner.

‘I’m more open to being a husband than I am a father right now,’ the 45-year-old said. ‘I like the idea that there’s no pressure, or a thought about having to have a child with Lou. So it just makes it easy for us.’

Marie-Lou, 25, also insisted that she isn’t contemplating children just yet, telling People Magazine: ‘I think for the next ten years, I’m good. And that’s a long time, so I’m not even thinking about it yet.’

Jason met the model while on holiday in Mykonos with twin brother Brett Oppenheim, and just ‘had to say hi’ to her.

Despite insisting that he had no plans to show another relationship on camera, Jason also teased that Selling Sunset viewers would get a glimpse into their love story as the model has filmed ‘a couple of times’.

As well as this, he also introduced her to Chrishell, who is said to be ‘super supportive’ of the pairing, though it is not clear whether they shared scenes on the Netflix series.

‘Chrishell and I are in a really good place. We’re both in love and happy for each other,’ he added of his ex, who is currently dating Australian musician, G Flip.

‘It was such a mature and honest relationship, and I definitely leaned into the idea of having a family for the first time in my life really, like that seriously. But at the end of the day, I had to be honest with myself and I didn’t feel like I was there.’

Jason’s brief romance with Chrishell was portrayed on season five of the hugely popular reality show, with cameras on hand to capture the moment that things fizzled out.

In an emotional reunion, he could be seen tearing up as he reflected on the time they spent together, sharing how ‘difficult’ he had found the split.

‘There’s a sadness and loss, I think watching the show made it more difficult, brought it back up,’ he told host Tan France, before needing to gather his thoughts.

‘It’s been a few months but I’m still just going through stuff. I think there was a lot of love between us, and I still care about her very much, this has been a very difficult breakup.

‘I can never think more highly of someone than I do Chrishell, she was an amazing girlfriend, I think that she would be an amazing mom.

‘It’s not that I think I made the wrong decision it’s just that I had a lot of respect, and still have the upmost respect for Chrishell, I still have as much love for her today as I did then. It’s difficult.’

Selling Sunset is available to stream on Netflix now.
