‘She thinks she can sing – she can’t! – fans brutally mock Katie Price as she shares new pop single

Katie Price has been mocked over her singing abilities, as the former glamour model announces she is releasing a brand new single.

The 45-year-old mum of five teased fans with an excerpt of her new track on an episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show.

Presenting the show alongside her sister, the I'm a Celeb star treated listeners to her cover of R&B singer Jermaine Stewart's 1986 song We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off.

She told listeners, "This is going to be the first time that anyone has ever heard the full song, and I'm releasing it in a couple of weeks."

Katie then played the track, which included her belting out some impressive high notes, but not everyone is a fan of her voice.

After The Mucky Mansion star shared a clip of her looking back at her singing career over the years, she received mixed reviews.

She captioned the post: "What's your favourite song sung by The Pricey? (Comment below) Hear a sneak peek of Kate's brand new single on this week's podcast!"

One troll brutally mocked her, saying: "She actually really thinks she can sing… she can't.'"

While another penned: "Katie, who has convinced you that you can sing because they need to be locked up. Listen, love, YOU CAN'T SING; you shout, screech, but you don't sing; you are obviously hearing something different to everyone else… stop, stop, stop."

But her fans were also quick to defend her, with many excited for her new single to drop.

One person said: "You have always been able to sing, love your voice! Release more tunes, love to you and your sister."

While another said: "LOVE the acapella version of "You Don't Have to Take Your Clothes Off." I need it released now to play on Alexa. You sound Gorgeous xxxx."

Over the years, Katie has had a passion for singing and previously attempted to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2005. The following year she joined then-husband Peter Andre to record A Whole New World.

In 2010, she released a pop single called Free to Love Again, which narrowly made the charts at number 60. In 2017, she gave her music career another go, with her single I Got U, which she performed live on Loose Women.

She previously admitted that she has struggled to gain support for her music career, with The Sun reporting that her manager advised against it.
