Stacey Solomon has cleared things up after receiving a wave of backlash from fans over her luxury family holiday to Turkey last week – sharing that it's a rare occasion she goes away.
The TV personality has just returned from the stunning trip with husband Joe Swash and kids Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, 4, Rose, 1 and six-month-old Belle, with the family staying at the Regnum Carya resort in Antalya.
While many fans have been less pleased with Stacey's posts, accusing her of being 'unrelatable', the star admitted on social media that she has only been abroad 'twice in three years'.
Answering a holiday Q&A with her 5.7M followers, the mother-of-five shared that she wasn't much help with holiday recommendations. She posted: "Loads of you asking if I know about any other places nearby or similar hotels in different price ranges etc…
"I've only been to two places abroad in the last 3 years so I know nothing but I asked Suzi @trendingtravel & she sent me a link of the deals she thought were good ones. Different price ranges, prices and things to do. Hope this helps!"
The claim from Stacey appeared to further show her hitting back at fans who sent trolling messages over her expensive holiday, with the star informing fans to 'unfollow' her if they didn't like the content.
"Sorry Stacey but an average family could not afford this hotel you are very lucky to be able to afford this," wrote one fan.
Another wrote: "She doesn’t live in the real world anymore," whilst others even went as far as to 'price up' the holiday, with many saying they wouldn't be able to afford it.
While Stacey took to her Instagram Stories in response, writing: "If me sharing our holiday doesn't make you feel good then unfollow or just mute me or something. I love coming on here and sharing things so much and I love out community on here. All I ever want is to take you on the adventure with us and hopefully make you smile along the way."
During their family holiday, Stacey and her husband Joe were embroiled in a prank war, after the latter shocked his wife by pushing her into their pool at random.
Getting her revenge, the former X Factor star certainly one-upped Joe as she had him wear see-through trunks all day, unbeknownst to him. The presenter was left fuming as he raged at Stacey, who filmed the reaction for Instagram but joked she would 'be banned' from the platform if she showed his full swimming trunks.
