Feuding celebrities are everywhere in Hollywood, but what about the ones who actually kiss and make up? Wonderwall.com is taking a look at stars who buried the hatchet after publicly feuding, starting with this unlikely spat. In late July 2022, JoJo Siwa raised eyebrows when she publicly identified Candace Cameron Bure as the “rudest” celebrity she’s ever met. The story went viral, which left the “Full House” actress perplexed, as she couldn’t recall a nasty interaction with the YouTube star. Candace soon got in touch with JoJo and hashed it out. The situation apparently stemmed from a red carpet moment in which Candace denied a then-11-year-old JoJo a picture. In an Instagram video, Candace said she felt “crummy” hearing the story and apologized numerous times for “breaking” the child star’s “heart.” JoJo was apparently surprised the “silly” story took on a life of its own and has forgiven Candace. “All good, all good on the JoJo front,” Candace said before turning the situation into a lesson. “Even a 10-second trending TikTok video can do damage because our words matter and our actions matter,” she insisted. “Be mindful of what we do post, even if it’s meant to be innocent and fun at the time.” During the friendly conversation, Candace said she and JoJo “had all the feels” and proclaimed there is “no drama” between them.

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s friendship imploded when Katy accused Taylor of stealing her backup dancers in 2014. The two wrote songs about their drama (“Bad Blood” and “Swish Swish,” anyone?) and cryptically spoke about their feud on social media and in interviews, with Katy telling late night host James Corden, “[Taylor] started it, and it’s time for her to finish it.” But in 2018, Katy sent Taylor a literal olive branch and a sweet note to make amends. “We’ve been on good terms for a while,” Taylor said on Capital FM’s “Capital Breakfast” show in June 2019. “She sent me a really nice note and olive branch… like, an actual olive branch, to my [“Reputation”] tour … a while ago, and from that point on, we’ve been on good terms.” They further confirmed their truce when Katy appeared in Taylor’s “You Need to Calm Down” video the same month. In 2020, Taylor also sent Katy a hand-embroidered baby blanket for her newborn daughter, Daisy Dove.

What’s hip-hop music without a few diss records? Rappers Drake and Meek Mill became enemies in 2015 when when Meek tweeted that the former “Degrassi” star didn’t write his own lyrics. Drake didn’t take to kindly to Meek’s accusation and immediately released two scathing diss tracks, including the hit “Back to Back,” about the Philly rapper. The pair put their differences aside in 2018 when they performed on stage at Boston’s TD Garden. “This really gave me peace of mind tonight,” Drake wrote on Instagram about the performance. “Healing and moving forward created one of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career.” The rappers recorded and released a song together, “Going Bad,” in January 2019.

Adrienne Bailon Houghton and Kim Kardashian West butted heads in 2014 when, during an interview with “Latina” magazine, Adrienne called her former boyfriend — Kim’s little brother, Rob Kardashian — “disloyal.” She also said that the “Kardashian label” hurt her career. Kim clapped back at the former “Cheetah Girls” singer on Twitter, writing, “Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian. #LetItGoooooLetItGoooooo (FROZEN VOICE). So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever.” Happily, Adrienne and Kim squashed their beef in 2017 and the two are friends again now. Kim was even guest on Adrienne’s talk show, “The Real,” and shared a snap on Instagram of daughter North West dancing to the Cheetah Girls with the caption, “Should I break the news to North that this could [have] been her auntie ?!?!?!”

One of the most random celebrity feuds to hit Hollywood was the public spat between broadcaster Piers Morgan and pop superstar Ariana Grande. In 2018, the two went back and forth over Twitter after Piers claimed that Ariana used “nudity” to sell records. Ariana responded to his criticism, explaining that she uses “talent AND my sexuality all the time because i choose to.” She continued, “Women can be sexual AND talented. naked and dignified. it’s OUR choice. & we will keep fighting til people understand. i say this w all due respect but thank u, next. i look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young, beautiful, successful women for everything they do.” One year later, the two saw each other in the same restaurant and made amends. Piers shared this photo on Instagram with the caption: “After our little Twitter spat a few months ago, we randomly bumped into each other in a LA restaurant last night, she joined me for ‘a chat’ & 2 hours later we were still chatting. We laughed, we argued, she cried, I nearly did, the drinks flowed & we bonded. Turns out we really like each other.”

Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth were mortal enemies during their “Beverly Hills, 90210” days in the ’90s. The two actresses famously disliked each other during a time when Shannen had a reputation for being one of Hollywood’s most difficult mean girls. At one point, things almost got physical. “We took it outside,” Jennie admitted on “Watch What Happens Live” in 2019. Luckily, the two reconciled years ago and were able to amicable co-star on the 2019 “90210” reboot, “BH90210.” “I think when you’re 18, your personalities conflict, and then you meet up 10 or 15 years later and the playing ground is totally different and you’re fine,” Shannen told Entertainment Weekly in 2008. “The first moment I saw her it was like, ‘OK, this is going to be good.’ It was like, ‘Hey.’ Then a hug. It’s like going to a war together. You’ve already been in the trenches together. You learned so much from that first war. That second war, you know what you need to do to make the set the most peaceful environment you can possibly have.”

Like their “Beverly Hills, 90210” predecessors, “90210” stars Shenae Grimes-Beech and AnnaLynne McCord did not get along. The actresses butted heads on set and did not patch things up until the show ended in 2013. “Shenae and I, who played Annie, we were at each other’s throats for five years,” AnnaLynne said on “The Wendy Williams Show.” “And the day before we wrapped, Shenae calls me and was like, ‘Hey… I can’t believe it’s over.’ I’m like, ‘B—-?!’ I end up at her wedding in England and now we’re friends. We have dinner dates. It’s awesome, I love her.”

Jennie Garth wasn’t the only co-star that Shannen Doherty beefed with. The “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress also had issues with “Charmed” co-star Alyssa Milano. The two started out as friends but soon clashed over Shannen’s alleged jealousy. Their disagreements became so volatile that Shannen was reportedly fired from the show after Alyssa gave producer Aaron Spelling an ultimatum (Alyssa denies the claim). “There was too much drama on the set and not enough passion for the work,” Shannen told “Entertainment Tonight” of her departure at the time. “I’m 30 years old and I don’t have time for drama in my life anymore.” Alyssa and Shannen made amends in the 2010s after Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer. “I think we’re just at ages now that what happens 15 years ago, or however long ago that was, it’s irrelevant,” Alyssa told E!’s “Daily Pop. “I think that what she has gone through, [and] motherhood in my life, I think it just changes people. I’m so happy that she’s feeling well. I prayed for her every day that she would feel well and I can’t wait to see her.”

Everyone loves the “Queer Eye” cast — but they didn’t always love each other. Antoni Porowski and Karamo Brown butted heads during the first season of Netflix’s “Queer Eye” reboot in 2018. The co-stars were constantly hearing rumors about one another and were “thrust” into an “extreme, odd situation” working “80 hours a week” with strangers, Antoni said on Karamo’s podcast. “My castmate in ‘Queer Eye,’ Antoni, people didn’t know that we had an extreme amount of conflict,” Karamo told E! News in May 2019. “We did not talk to each other at all during Season 1 even though we were shooting together. On camera, it was about that person and about creating something successful and so that was genuine, but off camera, the minute that camera stopped rolling, ‘Girl, don’t come near me.'” The two eventually reconciled and are good friends today.

Two of pop’s biggest stars feuded for years. Lady Gaga and Madonna’s beef started in 2011 when Gaga released her single “Born This Way.” Fans accused the “A Star is Born” actress of copying Madonna’s 1989 song “Express Yourself” and the Queen of Pop herself fanned the flames by calling Gaga’s single “reductive.” Their feud continued for more than eight years. “She wouldn’t look me in the eye and tell me that I was reductive,” Gaga said of Madonna in her 2017 Netflix documentary, “Gaga: Five Foot Two.” “Telling me you think I’m a piece of s— through the media? It’s like a guy passing me a note through his friend.” Madonna and Gaga buried the hatchet in 2019 when they were snapped sharing an embrace at the Material Girl’s Oscars afterparty.

Hollywood’s most famous frenemies might just be Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. The “The Simple Life” co-stars started out as best friends but soon became adversaries during the height of their reality TV show fame. Paris and Nicole hardly shared any screen time during the last two seasons of “The Simple Life” and Paris later said that Nicole “knows what she did, and that’s all I’m ever going to say about it.” By 2014, the two socialites had patched things up. “Paris is somebody that’s been in my life since day one,” Nicole said on “Watch What Happens Live.” “An idea of a true friend is somebody that’s going to be there with you through and through. I haven’t spoken to her in a while, but we are very good friends. I love her and I love her family. I have a lot of respect for her.”

Howard Stern and Kathie Lee Gifford feuded for three decades. Even though the radio host called the talk and morning show host the “world’s dumbest person,” somehow, the duo managed to make amends. “Howard Stern had a feud with me going on 30 years,” Kathie said on the “Today” show in 2018. “I never met him. I never listened to his show. He hated my guts for 30 years. Hated my husband, hated my children. Hated everything I stood for. One day, right here, I was up in the makeup room, and all of a sudden, he’s here to announce ‘America’s Got Talent.’ I just feel the Lord saying very clearly to me, ‘Go down and say hello to Howard.’ I’m standing right here… and I go, ‘Howard, Howard, I’m Kathie Lee. I thought it was time I say hello. I want to wish you the very best with your show.’ And I left.” Howard then called Kathie Lee to apologize for his decades-long animosity and she accepted his mea culpa. The following year, he sent her “the hugest bouquet of red roses” to congratulate her on her final “Today” show taping in April 2019, Kathie Lee revealed.

Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell were the industry’s biggest — and only — black supermodels of the ’90s. Sadly, their unique status as minority catwalkers pitted them against each other. “I got to Paris and it was very difficult. I did very well, very fast,” Tyra said on the Norwegian-Swedish talk show “Skavlan.” “But then the industry was saying, ‘Look out, Naomi Campbell, here comes Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell sit your butt down, this younger one is coming to take your place.’ It was really unfair to her because the other models that weren’t black, like Kate Moss came up, we were the same generation, they weren’t saying, ‘Look out, Christy Turlington, this cheekbone girl got cheekbones higher than yours! Get back!’ You know, so they weren’t saying that.” The outside drama fueled their feud and Naomi even went so far as to get Tyra fired from jobs, according to Tyra. These days, however, the two are friends. “It does irk me that two women of color have to be pitted against each other,” Naomi told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live.” “You can have more than one woman of color in a fashion show. Unfortunately, back then, you could only have one so the other felt… put out. I’m very proud of Tyra and what she’s done with ‘America’s Next Top Model.’ I’m proud to know her.”

Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor’s feud is part of one of the biggest Hollywood scandals of the 20th century. In the late 1950s, Debbie’s husband, Eddie Fisher, began an affair with Elizabeth after the death of her third husband, Eddie’s friend Mike Todd. The affair soon made headlines and Eddie left Debbie to marry Elizabeth in 1959. Their union caused such a scandal that Eddie’s eponymous television show was canceled. Fast-forward nearly 20 years later and Debbie and Elizabeth were once again friends. “I was going to London on the Queen Elizabeth ship and I looked up and I saw tons of luggage going by me and birdcages and dog cages and nurses and I realized Elizabeth was on the same ship as me,” Debbie told The Hollywood Reporter. “I sent a note to her room and she sent a note back to mine saying that we should have dinner and get this over with and have a good time. Because we were very good friends when we were 17 and went to school together on the MGM lot. And we had a wonderful evening with a lot of laughs.” The two iconic actresses later starred together in 2001’s “These Old Broads.”

Former child stars Josh Peck and Drake Bell fell out when Josh married longtime girlfriend Paige O’Brien in July 2017. Drake wasn’t invited to the nuptials and took to Twitter to express his outrage. “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear…,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “Loyalty is key. ALWAYS remember where you came from….True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.” Luckily, the forem “Drake & Josh” stars patched things up by that fall and are close friends today. Drake even makes appearances on Josh’s YouTube channel. “We’ve been together 18 years, Josh and me, me and Josh. We’ve been so close, it was just one of those things where you know, I’d been talking to him, and he’s been telling me about the engagement. And then I saw on social media, the wedding, and I didn’t hear about it,” Drake later told “Entertainment Tonight.” “Yeah, I said the ties are cut or whatever, but I should have just texted that to him, you know. I was just being cranky. You know, it’s like sibling rivalry for a minute.”

Solange Knowles and JAY-Z might be related, but that didn’t stop the two from having some serious issues. Back in 2014, Solange was caught on camera physically attacking JAY-Z on an elevator after the Met Gala. Security camera footage was leaked and fans speculated about what could have caused their altercation. The Carter-Knowles family never revealed specifics and instead shared in a statement that “The most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family… At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family.”
