Stormzy puts Hollywood actress Kate Hudson on the spot this weekend, as they join The Jonathan Ross Show.
The 'Vossi Bop' rapper, 29, smoothly builds up to the topic of sex scenes while reminiscing about his time working on the music video for 'Hide & Seek'.
"Me and the team said it needs to be a high standard actor. I’m a rubbish actor," he begins.
"The idea of me going on set with someone that’s awkward and I’m awkward… We got Saffron [Hocking] in and she’s a true professional. She made me really comfortable and led the whole thing."
Turning to Kate, 43, who's there to promote her new movie Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Stormzy admits he doesn't understand how performers get in that intimate headspace without certain natural repercussions.
He asks Kate: “When I see sex scenes I’m like, ‘How do you lot do that?’ Of course it’s your job but… as your average punter, it looks extremely difficult. Can there be… arousal… everyone’s thought it!”
Laughing, the fiancée of Danny Fujikawa responds: "Interesting question. I think it’s so mechanical and there’s so many people around.
"Usually they close the set and you kind of have to talk it out and the boys wear belts. It’s very… tucked. It kind of takes the fun out of it, I guess.
"Sometimes it’s more enjoyable than other times," Kate points out. "It just depends on the circumstance and the safety that you feel with that actor and how safe the space feels. It can get awkward."
Elsewhere on Saturday's episode, which also welcomes comedian Roisin Conaty and singer Joan Armatrading to the yellow sofa, the recent Louis Theroux interview subject waxes lyrical about seeing Adele live in Las Vegas.
"That was amazing. Honestly, probably the best show I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of shows," declares Stormzy.
"In terms of the intimacy of it. It was very like… you’re in there but it’s like a small theatre but it’s f*****g Adele.
"It’s got all the glitz and glamour like a massive arena show, but it’s in a small place and it’s kind of like, wonderful. Beautiful and spectacular and glamorous… I was like, chefs kiss.
"I’ve always been a big fan," he goes on to reveal. "She came to my London show and I was very, very starstruck. Extremely starstruck. I remember I was like, ‘Can I hug you? Oh, can I hug you again?’ I probably asked about three/four times. She’s lovely.”
Interestingly, the 'Skyfall' hitmaker herself has suggested she'd "never been more nervous" than on the eve of her Vegas residency.
“I always get scared before shows, and I take it as a good sign because it means I care and means I just want to do a good job," shared Adele this month.
The Jonathan Ross Show, Saturday at 10.20pm on ITV1 and ITV Hub
