A new psychology test could indicate how empathetic you are based on which detail you notice when first glancing of an optical illusion, it’s been claimed.

The brainteaser, which consists of several images, is said to test the viewers’ outlook on life and how they respond to others in their immediate environment.

Since time immemorial, people have claimed that what a person sees first in mind-bending imagery can give insights into whether they are empathetic.

The latest test comes from TikTok’s @psychologylove100, who’ frequently psycho-analyses brainteasers for an audience of 336,000 followers.

“What do you see first? You’ll discover your greatest personality traits,” explained the content creator in his clip. “If you saw the woman’s face first then you’re resilient and adaptable.”

The TikToker went on to point out that people in this category are most likely undergoing a dramatic transformation in their life at present.

“You’re probably someone who accepts change gratefully and even embraces it,” he added. “You have a strong desire for freedom and independence.”

He continued: “You are likely to enjoy exploring new ideas and experiences without feeling constrained by convention or expectation.

“You have a positive attitude,” added the narrator.” and can find light even in the darkest situations.”

Meanwhile, if you saw the couple in the bottom left-hand corner of the painting, this could indicate that you “pay attention to others”.

“You’re probably an empathetic person able to understand and feel what others are feeling,” explained the content creator. “Your attention to detail and ability to perceive emotions could make you particularly good at interpersonal [relationships].”

These types of people tend to be introspective and spend a substantial amount of time analyzing their own thoughts and emotions.

“You may be someone who values authenticity and is always seeking to understand your true self,” added the TikToker. “You express your feelings and emotions. You are also very perceptive and can understand things quickly.”

Viewers were amazed by the results, with many agreeing that the analysis accurately summarised various aspects of their personality.

Racing to the comments, one viewer wrote: “Finally got your thinking down. You are very smart. Good work sir.”
