Presenter Tyler West, 26, and singer Molly Rainford, 21, first sent tongues wagging when they were pictured together outside the Pride of Britain awards on Monday. Since then, speculation has mounted and a Strictly insider has now claimed that “romance” could be “on the cards”.

The source said: “Everyone on the show is talking about how flirty the pair are.

“They’re both young and single and have really hit it off and so it feels like romance is on the cards.

“They always seem to be smiling and having a laugh.”

They also added to The Sun that KISS FM’s Tyler is popular on the Strictly set for his “banter and friendly nature”.

They concluded: “He has definitely impressed Molly with his sense of humour.”

Express.co.uk has approached Molly and Tyler’s representatives for comment.

The reports come after Molly shut down claims that she was dating professional dancer, Nikita Kuzmin, 24.

It was thought that something might be going on with the pair when they were seen looking close at the National Television Awards.

The 21-year-old appeared on Good Morning Britain earlier this week and was quizzed by Charlotte Hawkins on whether there were any romances behind the scenes.

Sitting alongside her partner Carlos Gu, Molly stated: “You know what, it is such a tight-knit group.

“Everyone is so close, we have Friday night takeaway, we’re all chatting and the pros are so lovely.

“Even the new guys, everyone is amazing.”

Comedian Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe were also at the top after their theatrical Couple’s Choice routine.

The pair danced to Bette Midler’s rendition of I Put a Spell on You from the 1993 Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus.

Sunday’s results show will see another celebrity eliminated before the others take on the seventh week in the competition.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Results airs at 7.20pm on BBC One.
