Taylor Swift’s voice breaks during emotional Chicago performance
Taylor Swift was one of the many A-lister guests that attended Jack Antonoff’s rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, ahead of his wedding to Margaret Qualley, which took place the following day.
The star-studded event was held at the Black Whale Corner bar in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, and as the Bad Blood singer headed home things took a scary turn for the star.
Word clearly got around that Taylor was in attendance at the dinner, prompting an army of Swifties to wait outside the hot spot to get a glimpse of her.
As the pop star was escorted out of the restaurant by security, excited fans, who forced an unexpected road closure on the street where the restaurant is based, could be heard chanting her name and cheering.
Clips of the moment quickly went viral on social media as TikTokers jumped to the star’s defence and criticized the admirers’ “psychotic” behaviour.
A user on TikTok who goes by the name @toris.intel blasted the swifties outside the venue pointing out: “This is not the look of a woman who is happy to see y’all.”
The TikToker went on to call out the “disrespectful” fans for their “audacity” after claiming Taylor “looked scared” while she fled the event.
The clip prompted a strong reaction from other fans as they too slammed the crowd for swarming Taylor as she left her pal’s rehearsal dinner.
Another TikToker @wearulikeanecklace penned: “It’s so wildly creepy and psychotic.”

A second user @Glen Coco wrote: “This HAS to be scary for her,” followed by a crying emoji.
As @annieealex fumed: “This is barbaric behaviour. I’ve been a Taylor fan for almost 14 years now and we have ALWAYS given Taylor her privacy and space.”
While fan @Ashley444 noted: “The act of entitlement of these people…. Like celebrities owe you a goddamn thing. Let her live her life.”
And @Colleenarsenault argued: “The fact they had to SHUT DOWN the restaurant early because it was so out of control they RUINED THEIR NIGHT.”

Jack and Margaret officially tied the knot on Saturday at Parker’s Garage in Long Beach, New Jersey in front of close family and celebrity friends.
Along with Taylor, the likes of Channing Tatum, Zoe Kravitz, Lana Del Ray, and others dressed up to the nines to enjoy the newlyweds’ special day.
After the intimate ceremony, the newlyweds as well as their many guests, made their way to the lowkey reception to party the night away.
The loved-up pair got engaged in May after first being romantically linked back in 2021.
