This Morning: Emma Kenny returns to show after death of her dad

This Morning contributor Emma Kenny has given birth to a little girl after hiding her pregnancy for nine months.

Emma, 50, is a psychologist and TV presenter who regularly appears as a commentator on the show, often lending her expertise to listeners who’ve submitted queries to the show.

The star took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from her birth, and explained why she chose to keep her pregnancy under wraps.

“I’ve waited 10 years to finally hold you in my arms. With every miscarriage I tried to learn to be grateful and accepting of what I had.

“I tried to dampen my desire to be a mother to another child, to find peace in my natural infertility and yet it felt so unnatural all in the same moment.”

The star, who shares sons Tyde, 16, and Evan, 14, with her ex-husband, shared a heartfelt post, saying her newborn has “healed her” after trying for a long time for another baby.
