TOWIE star Tommy Mallet has shared that he has been taking time out from his busy work schedule recently to spend time with his family, admitting he has "neglected what's most important".

It has been a tough time for Tommy and his partner Georgia Kousoulou recently – the couple went through the heartbreak of a miscarriage with their second pregnancy in April, which they opened up on in their reality show Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps.

Tommy has also been diagnosed with ADHD and said he thought it was a good time to take a break with Georgia and their young son Brody.

He has been sharing photos and videos on Instagram of happy sunny days in Palma de Mallorca, swimming with Brody and Georgia, enjoying a dip in the sea and generally chilling out with his loved ones.

Sharing where his head is at with fans, Tommy wrote: "I’ve been taking time out lately to spend with my family, over the years I’ve neglected what’s been most important because I’ve had a obsession with success, I’ve always dreamed of being able to go away and switch off & with it nearly being a year since being diagnosed with ADHD I thought it would be a good time to do so!

"It’s been such a intense 7 years full of ups and downs & for the first time since I can remember I can truly say I feel happy and content, all by doing simple things and spending time with the most important people in my life.."

Tommy, who owns footwear brand Mallet, added: "It’s time to get back in the game and drop some huge collaborations with Mallet, then announce something that I’m sure is going to be one of the biggest projects of my life! Love and light people, love you all."

Fans were fully in support of Tommy realigning his priorities as one person commented: "Can't tell you how much my opinion of you has changed since your early Towie days. I really do find you very inspiring, love how real you are."

Recently, Tommy has been teasing an exciting new project that he has set up a new Instagram account for, @tommys_journey, and although the profile is currently empty he has said he is "about to announce something mad".

Fans have been encouraging his new venture, with many believing it will involve his shoe and fashion brand Mallet.
