Tyga Defends the Kardashians While Weighing In on ‘Kardashian Curse’

During his appearance on ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’, the ‘Taste’ rapper, who previously dated Kylie Jenner, revisits the old days with the famed family.

AceShowbizTyga is one of the few people who used to be in the Kardashian-Jenner family’s inner circle. During his appearance on “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson“, the rapper, who previously dated Kylie Jenner, revisited the old days with the famed family.

In the episode, DJ Whoo Kid asked the “Loco contigo” rapper whether he’s happy that his name wasn’t included in the conversations about the alleged “Kardashian Curse.” Mike then jumped in, asking, “Those people are not bad people, are they?”

“They’re not bad people,” Tyga responded. T-Raww went on to note that they are living in a relatively different world compared to most people. “I think-the problem is, though, you gotta understand. It’s like, if you come from a different world, their world is different,” he explained.

He continued, “Say, if they want to become artists and come to our world, they wouldn’t last. You know what I’m saying? It would be critical. So, imagine going to their world as a rapper or somebody else. Or like, a different….”

“It’s gossip. It’s different. So, coming from-me, I’m not a person that, I don’t like to be filmed all day. I don’t like to put everything, what I’m doing [out there]… In their world, it may not be good for you,” the “Hotel California” artist went on to elaborate.

Tyga and Kylie first met at her sister Kendall Jenner‘s birthday party in 2011 and their flirty encounter was documented in an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians“. He was 21 years old, while the reality TV star was just 14 at the time.

They reconnected in 2014 when he accompanied his then-fiancee Blac Chyna to Kylie’s 17th birthday party. In the same year, Tyga called off his engagement to Blac, though the hip-hop star denied that the decision had anything to do with Kylie.

The two later grew closer with Tyga presenting Kylie with a $320K Ferrari for her 18th birthday in 2015. Their relationship, however, drew backlash as people criticized them for their big age gap. The couple officially split in 2017.
