The racy website has started attracting more notable celebrity creators who are keen to cash in on their good looks and fame by selling their bodies online.

While it may seem like the more explicit the content is, the more money one can make on OnlyFans, that isn’t necessarily the case.
Professional OnlyFans manager Bjorn Olsen, who owns and operates the Melbourne-based agency Your Onlyfans Empire, says that teasing subscribers is often more lucrative than showing everything.
‘To sum it up, I would say the content that performs best is when the model is conservative and the images that they post on their normal social media are a bit conservative… and they are also not too overly explicit on their OnlyFans,’ he told the Herald Sun.
‘It’s kind of like teasing a cat with a piece of string. If you dangle a piece of string in front of a cat, the cat will want to get it but if you give the cat the whole ball of string it will get bored.’
He continued: ‘I find a lot of girls seem to think that if they just take off their clothes flaunt their body all over their social media, leaving little to the imagination [that will work], but that doesn’t translate well because you’re not leaving these guys wanting any more.’
Bjorn went on to emphasise that OnlyFans models need to leave their male clients ‘wanting more’ so they can ‘funnel’ them into their private messages where most of the money is made.
While it’s easy for celebrity creators to turn a profit on OnlyFans with little effort, one successful model on the site has warned amateurs to steer clear.

In a piece for Insider, the busty blonde said that doing OnlyFans can be ‘degrading’ and that making money isn’t as easy as people may think.
‘I would really consider what the consequences would be for your future. Online sex work gets glamourised as easy money, when it’s really not,’ she cautioned.
Laura said that she was fortunate enough to be able to cash-in thanks to her large social media following, which she’s had since she was a MySpace model back in mid-2000s.
She stressed that most women getting into OnlyFans now won’t have a large enough fanbase to monetise, and that the market has become ‘oversaturated’ with creators hoping to make a quick buck.
‘It’s not likely you’ll make a lot of money, despite what some creators may tell you,’ she said, adding that they will also have to deal with being called ‘degrading names’ online.
Laura said that another downside is having your intimate photos out on the internet for all eternity – something that many people don’t seem to fully grasp.
‘You can delete something, but you can’t ever really take it off the internet. So if you’re not sure you want explicit photos and videos of yourself to be out there, don’t do it,’ she said.
