Whitney and Molly will ‘thrive’ outside the Love Island villa, says expert

Love Island stars Molly Marsh and Whitney Adebayo will "thrive" outside the villa, says relationship expert and co-founder of the So Syncd dating app, Louella Alderson.

In the aftermath of Monday night's Love Island finale, 31 July, Louella has opened up to OK! on her predictions for the islanders going forward, including which couples may be doomed to split.

Louella has explained that Whitney will likely "thrive outside the villa", due to her extroverted and independent nature.

She said: "Whitney is a great example of someone who is likely to thrive outside the villa. She is an independent individual who has her own ambitions and goals."

"Throughout her time in the villa, she has been genuine, grounded and understanding. She has a good head on her shoulders and can manage difficult situations with ease."

Louella continued: "In addition to being level-headed, Whitney is also a well-balanced extrovert, so she will excel in the attention that comes along with life outside the villa.

"At the same time, she won't be too overbearing or become so consumed with being famous that she loses sight of what is really important to her.

"She's someone that will take the best of both worlds, and this will certainly serve her well once the cameras are switched off."

Louella has identified Molly as another islander who's likely to do well outside the villa, telling OK!: "Molly could also do well in life outside the villa. She's more introverted than the other islanders but is still open and sociable when she wants to be.

"Despite her age, Molly has a great understanding of what she wants in life. She's independent and strong-minded and knows how to stand up for what she believes in.

"This means that even when faced with lots of attention outside the villa, she can remain grounded and focused on what’s important to her."

But it may not be so easy-going for other islanders, with Louella suggesting that Mitchel Taylor may not be quite so lucky.

She said: "Mitch could go too far with a need for attention outside of the villa. He's quite self-centred and loves to be in the spotlight, so it may be difficult for him to keep his ego in check.

As Jess recently said, Mitch thinks the grass is always greener, so he may be easily tempted to go out and explore the fame-filled life the moment the villa doors open.

"This may lead to him making decisions that aren’t beneficial for his long-term goals and he could end up becoming too consumed with the attention."
