Will Smith mocks wife Jada’s recent bombshells with bold ‘official statement’

Will Smith releases ‘official statement’ on TikTok

Will Smith took to all his social media accounts Tuesday night to share an “official statement”, following his estranged wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s recent bombshells.

Despite the shocking reveals including that the two had been separated for seven years, Will tried to make light of the situation.

The Men in Black took to Instagram, to share a video captioned: “OFFICIAL STATEMENT.”

Will’s video begins normally, showing the Hollywood star sitting on an armchair, as he began: “I got something for you, my opinion.”

Before the dad of three could finish his statement, he sneezed, at which point the camera zoomed out of his home, cut to a waterfall, zoomed out of the waterfall, and eventually zoomed out of the planet entirely.

Will has limited comments on the post, appearing to just let verified accounts and pals respond.

@BradHaugen said: “Needed you to weigh in with this opinion. It’s on point!”

Rapper Jas added: “Always good to zoom out and look at the big picture!”

Will’s video comes after his wife Jada shared a shocking revelation with People magazine last week that the pair have been separated for the last seven years.

Jada then claimed she was “shocked” when Will called her his “wife” during the Oscars 2022 incident, which infamously ended with Smith hitting Rock in the face on-stage.

This isn’t the first time Will has commented on the bombshells having shared a short statement with the New York Times last weekend.

Will admitted that his wife’s new memoir, named Worthy, “kind of woke [him] up” as realized that his wife was living “more on the edge” than he thought.

He wrote to the newspaper: “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties.”

Will also claimed he only just realized his wife was “more resilient, clever and compassionate than he’d understood”.

Jada has since confirmed that the estranged couple are “working hard” on repairing their relationship and are currently “concentrating on healing”.

She told Hoda Kotb on the Today show: “It’s like we are in a place now that we are in a deep, healing space. And we are really concentrating on healing the relationship between us.”
