Working mum Holly Willoughby goes straight from son’s nativity play to glam Paris event

Holly Willoughby stunned in a little black dress as she appeared at a beauty event in Paris on Thursday evening.

The This Morning presenter, 41, was seen at Garnier’s Greener Never Stops event in the French capital, where she was joined by fellow brand ambassador Davina McCall, 55, after revealing how proud she was of her son for landing a role in the school’s nativity play.

Holly wore a sleek, off the shoulder black mini-dress which featured long sleeves and a puffed out skirt.

The star paired her dress with a pair of tights and black high heels and kept her accessories simple, while wearing her blonde hair in loose waves over her shoulders.

She was joined by fellow presenter Davina, who dazzled in an emerald green playsuit and heels and wore her brunette hair in a face-framing style.

The two women posed for photos and were seen chatting at the event, during which beauty brand Garnier announced a series of sustainable commitments and innovations as part of their Greener Never Stops campaign.

Holly's appearance at the glamorous event came just hours after she'd taken some time off from her presenting duties to attend a school play.

Fans had noticed that Holly was absent from the This Morning sofa earlier that day, with Phil Schofield explaining she was absent from her usual presenting duties as she was watching her son perform in his school nativity play.

The presenter shares three children with her husband Dan Baldwin: Harry, 12, Belle, 10, and Chester, 8.

Following an ad break, Phillip told viewers: "You might notice there is someone missing, that's because Holly is busy doing something that a lot of parents up and down the country can relate to. She is at Chester's nativity play."

Holly then appeared on the screen, looking very blurry from the bad connection, as she explained: "I'm at Chester's school. The cast are getting ready for quarter past 10, they're all going on stage. You say nativity, there is a nativity of sorts but we're actually following Clarence the camel, who is on a journey to find his home. Will he get there? I don't know.

"I can see behind the camera here that there are lots of children dressed as Christmas puddings, so it's all going off here."

Phillip then asked the presenter what her son is playing, to which she responded: "Chester is playing Father Christmas. He has a very important role. He's full of lots of stuffing and he's looking super cute."

A couple of days previously, Holly had shared how proud she was of her son Chester for having a role in the school play.

After Matilda the Musical performed live on the morning show, Phil suggested Holly should show the clip to Chester ahead of his Christmas show to give him some inspiration.

“You are going to play that back to your Chester this evening, as he’s got his part coming up,” Phil said.

“Yes, tomorrow," Holly replied, before she explained: “Probably lots of you are going to Nativity’s or school end of term Christmas plays, Chester has got his tomorrow and he is Santa.”

Holly did her best Will Ferrell impression from the Christmas Movie Elf and added: “He’s Santa! Which is quite exciting!”

Phil revealed that the proud mother of three had messaged him about the exciting news, he said: “She WhatsApped me yesterday afternoon saying Chester is Santa – yay!”

“There’s been lots of pillows stuffed down certain areas but we're all very excited,” she said about Chester’s Santa outfit.
