Kate Garraway, 55, has told Good Morning Britain producer and news editor Liz Little she’ll be missed, following her final shift in the studio today. The team member took to Twitter to share memories of her time on the show as she told fans she’ll be moving to ITN.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “Today I wrapped up my last @gmb shift surrounded by the very best – the most talented, creative & caring crew in telly.

“I’ve been beyond lucky to work with colleagues I consider best friends & am forever in awe of them. But for now it’s time for a new adventure at @itn/@ITVX.”

Kate shared the post on her page writing: “Good luck! You’ll be missed x.”

Many of her 519,000 followers also wished her colleague all the best.

Psychicmedium.pw added: “Good luck in all you do. Happy days ahead for you.”

Paul Jones typed: “Good luck, best wishes.”

Chef Danny McDonnell added: “Bon voyage xxxx.”

Liz’s departure comes 10 months after floor manager Tim Carr decided to leave.

Kate’s co-star Ben Shephard said on the show at the time: “Just a quick goodbye to our floor manager Tim who is leaving the show today.

“He has been with us for 40 years. We will miss you Tim.

“Let’s have a look at Tim, he’s been with us for 40 years.”

One departure that hit the headlines last year was when Piers Morgan dramatically left following a heated debate with Alex Beresford.
